It appears this problem was solved with the update today, all 'missing' bps were placed in carried inventory.
From reading the release notes and some of the answers from the team so far, don't think this is a 'bug', so moving over to feedback.
Apologies, I forgot to close this earlier, I'm all sorted now :) Seems there are others who still need them on Ark though if any traders passing...
