There's no problem having a friend kill the mobs for you to loot the chest at the end, I think the issue is using T to revive down at the end room...
Pressing T to get to the end of the instance? I don't think it's supposed to work that way. Where do you have to stand to revive at the end?
What kind of crashes? Crash to desktop without any error notice? Have you repaired your client? 64 bit? What system are you using?
