We have the "new posts" feature which is really great and which I always make sure has no new posts for me to check out. However, two things I miss from the forum of the other game I play are: - "popular threads" feature - which would show the threads with most replays and/or likes which are very likely to be useful for anyone new to the forum, but hard to find if not updated in a while; - "hot threads" feature - which would work just like the "popular threads" but just counting the amount of posts/likes in the last day/week/month. I know I have quite a few bookmarks to awesome threads like this, this or this, but which are buried down under lots of other posts and virtually impossible to find by someone not really know what to look after; of course some may be made sticky or someone might maintain a curated list, but isn't it better and simpler to relay on public opinions and just count the number of people likes?
