Nah, I think being an Arkadian is in the attitude. Like supporting the planet in your own way. And things like wanting to have a passport now, even though it has no practical functionality atm. As this thread shows, there are many veterans who had no choice in the matter, but now are proud Arkadinans. I was just lucky to have that choice. Like the vast majority, I thought the planets were just ingame features. By the time I finished the Gateway I started to have doubts about that. And learned that the choice of starter planet does in fact make a rl difference for the PP. I stopped playing until I could be 're-born': and didn't even finish any of the puny missions. So there was hardly anything lost skill wise. To start over an avatar of almost two years old, is a completely different story. But that's why I do mention it: to let starters know they have a choice. While they still are in the position to change it. Some aren't aware that you can start on different planets. And virtually none of them knows that a % of the ped you generate is going to the planet that you are born on. For the rest of your avatar's lifetime. (50% MA / 25% birth planet / 25% planet you play on) Even though I'm not a big investor: I still like that I could choose where/with who my peds wound up. So yeah, I tend to ask beginners if they choose Caly on purpose, or just by default. 9 out of 10 times it's by default. (Even a few who saw Arkadia advertising, but when later on going to download the game, googled for EU and saw the link https:/account.entropiauniverse.com/ with the description: "An Entropia Universe Account is Your Ticket to Planet Calypso." So assumed that that was the default starting place.) And with the new information given, some even decide to chose differently, and make the change to be born on Arkadia. I understand why they can't let existing avatars change their starting planets, even the ones who started when there was only 1 planet. But that makes it even more important to make sure that starters, who do have that possibility, have the information to make a conscious decision. Before reaching the point of no return. Luckily the universal chat channels make that a lot easier to do. But you're clearly not in a starter's position anymore. And an Arkadian by heart. There is a body sculptor here who might be able to help you with your 'look'? Angels Of Arkadia, shop # 2 in Celeste Harbor. ps. Sorry for the wall of text: result of not being able to get in-game. Stuck in AU once again.
