Just curious tho. If Neil Armstrong was the first man on the moon, who took the footage from the Moon, of him decending the Module-ladder, as he cited those famous words?

So for you Faye, did Jamy Hineman and His pall debunk this adequitelly for you? Do you beleive everything tellevision tells you to believe? That convincing? Or did they confirm the moonlanding as factual?

If you dont tickle yourself, you shall never laugh :)

Force FACT Majeure sure hates me for asking such kinda things, I wonder why lol. Dont say a word to him bout 9/11, he blows a fuse quite fast lol

Well if you are one of those that only believe when you are seeing it yourself (whihc is pretty hard with moon things) then no.

I personally yeah i believe the mythbuster in that way yes.

Nope Faye I aint one of those. Perhaps unofficially Buzz Aldrin was first but Neil outranked him and was given the honor of being number one, cos whoever took the footage from the moon was first. Its kinda one of those things that just dont go away when u realy think bout it.

From what I understand it was a camera mounted on the side of the lunar lander

Actually, I never paid attention to it, but it looks too perfect to be true - the guy never leaves the camera frame when he jumps, and they both move like they know exactly where they should stand and how to position the flag, so you get the nicest possible picture.

It would be hard even for professional actors without directing and with some crappy tiny module camera, and they are supposedly on the moon under a huge stress... it's a FAKE!!!

    :)

Questions like these are always interesting to ask. I tend not to get involved since some people argue to the death that their side is right, when we probably won't ever know ;) (even though I wish I could know all the questions in the world). Makes for some interesting debates though as long as they are kept constructive.

I'm guessing man has made it to the moon, but who knows if Neil jumped out first? Maybe he got out before to set up the camera, walked back and then filmed :D

At 02:39 UTC on Monday July 21 (10:39pm EDT, Sunday July 20), 1969, Armstrong opened the hatch, and at 02:51 UTC began his descent to the Moon's surface. The Remote Control Unit controls on his chest kept him from seeing his feet. Climbing down the nine-rung ladder, Armstrong pulled a D-ring to deploy the Modular Equipment Stowage Assembly (MESA) folded against Eagle's side and activate the TV camera, and at 02:56 UTC (10:56pm EDT) he set his left foot on the surface.

    Hope that helps.

Another point of intrest, Armstrong screwed up what he was supposed to say. :)

Well heres my take...They said he was the first to step foot on the moon. They NEVER said that it happened when they made the film. He could have stepped out first.. got handed the camera..the camera guy steppped out.. was handed the camera back....Told them where to stand for best publicity and filmed the famous quotes while reenacting the actual first step on the moon.

Its really NOT that hard to rationalise these things in ones head. Hell I have 5 functioning brain cells left after 15 years on pain meds and I did it.

There are also some realy whacky stuff posted on youtube. Other than rock/photo staring peops posting wierd ideas and theories there are also realy ridiculous stuff like this:

My thinking is that a media like Youtube, where viewer hits and rattings are most important, truth has no place at all.

And this was supposedly filmed by Niel Armstrong:
