What happens to peds spent if you fail an Instance?

Im just wondering what happens to the peds you spent on ammo and decay if you do not complete it in the time that you get?

 

Nobody knows for sure, but I'm betting each time something like this happens cyrus has a better meal then normal

 

IMHO same what happens with PED's, spending on Mob, which was killed by turret, drowned or just not looted etc. - they should go to lootpool.
In other words Instance just Mob with uber HP, where process of looting splitting in several parts.

 

guess we need an arkadia official to reply and say

 

Dave said it's like killing a big hp mob(last interview I think it was) so it should be same as if you turret a mob etc.. like Nikto said

And MindArk is the ones in control over loot

If you dont open the chests you dont get anything Happend to me before lol

 

If you're in an instance and the server crashes, you will often get the TT value of your key returned to you in peds, as well as get your ammo returned (not sure about weapon decay).

I'm still testing this out, sorry for how long its taking to test this out. We are having a some network issues on our line atm cause disconnects on the test server before the timer can expire. Ill change the instance timer with the next build and should be able to give feedback before end of the day.

 

I can confirm based on report from another player. He as doing an instance and ran out of time owing to his L weapon breaking with no spare in inventory. At time end, he was ejected from the instance. Many ped spent. No loot received.

 

i can go and test a key one dont coast much se what happens rely thats not the bigest loos
so if eny wundring abudt it why haw you not test it you self then

i can spend that 20 peds to test it

and rely you know you haw that time to run a key ther so if you dont get shit when you not doing it in times is fair play why wod you get loot for a haf don key

only time you shut get sum back is if you hit a bug in it

 

I was just wondering if the peds spent on ammo and decay go into the loot pool or not. I know if you run out of time you don't get any loot. I failed a key recently and ran out of time as the boss now attacks and I was solo which didn't help on a lvl 10 was a huge loss... but I have now learned my lesson and will make sure I take a bigger gun and armour if I do another.

 

yes was a bug when bosses was stuk

you ned to haw the gear and skills to do the difrent levels thats the hol point in to get gear and skills

so very good the got the bug fixt whit the boss was stuk i think

I have tested it and can confirm that if you fail to complete it in time you do not gain any loot.

Well that's secret MA business but there's no reason why it would be treated any different to other expended ammo and decay.

 

Thanks for the double check Chris but a good few of us already tested that accidentally lol. What the op wanted to know though is part of how the loot system works, does what we wasted in a failed instance run go into the loot pool or somewhere else, don't expect you can answer that and to me it matters not, the ped is gone

 

To answer that question you'd need to define what you mean by "loot pool".

 

Well the peds have to go somewhere do they go into the planet owners pockets do they get added to the ingame loot for arkadia (Or whole Game) or do they get added to the keys loot pool? Don't see what is so secret about that as if no one can tell then I guess all who failed should be due refunds

 

I suggest adding in an auction terminal that should help with the problem of someones (L) gun breaking by mistake
