Visit Ark for 1st time - & Players who got Passport before VU 2015.3

With the new VU (Planet Arkadia Update 2015.3 released 15 June 2015) there are some changes.

Players visiting Ark for the 1st time:
1. Be prepared to buy 10K of sweat, IF you want to do new player mission chain, or join IFN and get those missions.
(NOTE: Sweat regularly sells for a little more on Ark then on Caly)

2. I'm told the ACA mission chain is available to players without Arkadian passport.
But joining the IFN will give you a lot more missions.

3. Players can no longer pickup part of the starter mission chain by talking to Lt Chan at Resolute firebase
But players will be told at the New Arrivals Hanger to visit 8C Windy Isles, but several players visiting
said (in pm) they did not get any missions by going there.


Players who got passport before VU:
A. Players who bribed the official with 10k sweat for passport but could not get Sgt. Jong to talk.
- It does not work for players with Alienware hoverpod, or who got Carapace Helmet.
- It appears to only work for players who bribed official between Jan 2015 to June 15, 2015.

B. Teleport to New Arrivals Hanger TP and will immediately get a mission to visit offical at
front desk who finally tells you to go talk with Sgt. Jong.


The Sgt gives you carapace helmet and tells you to visit guard down the path at front of cave.


Talk with the cave guard (He gives those faster, lightly armored, red hoverpods to new players).


Talk with archaeologist and continue to Lt Chan at Resolute firebase.

It takes approximately 10 minutes to do all that part of the mission chain.

I've talked with at least dozen players in the past 3 days to learn this much, thank you all for helping.
Please post any corrections here, please note this might all change again with the next patch on June 23.

So I bribed official in March 2015 with 10k sweat. I couldn't get the new arrivals chain or starter mission as some ppl called it.
In chats I was told talk with official in hanger, then talk with Sgt Jong, and when that didn't work to go back again. I also logged out, changed graphics, and other settings, etc. and finally filed a bug report. MA replied within an hour or so, to keep going past the cave.
Next day I did, and Lt. Chan gave me the 5th mission in that starter chain, anyways that's were I started it.
Later I some new players pointed out Sgt Jong gave out the Carapace Helmets, but I couldn't get one.

I think the day the new VU came out on June 15, 2015 I happen to teleport to New Arrivals Hanger.
Before the teleport was done I heard a mission bling sound and saw a new mission appear in notes area and a waypoint.
I followed waypoint to Ark's official greeters in hanger, and I was told go tell Sgt. Jong there's an upcoming Oratan attack.
(Noticed there's a new NPC at the Arkadian Advisers booth.)
Needless to say I did it and I got my Carapace Helmet. I kept doing the mission chains until I arrived at Lt Chan who didn't say a thing, but now my Starter mission is completed.
