Very good point here. Its high time we had separate planet MU history available as the current system is totally inaccurate and does nothing to help ANY planets economy. It is nothing more than a rolling weighted average % figure and does in no way realistically reflect the individual economic conditions of the planets. The sooner this is changed, the better IMO
A seperate history was one of the many things asked even before space to help the players. No sign of it yet though
we all know we CAN put what ever price we want . But does that mean we should ? TH noobs who sell under mu are spoiling it for the ones who have decided to give TH a real go . there isnt much treasure on the auction at any given time which should work inthe miners favour , but the need for fast ped just messes it up (for all but the crafter). so please think b4 you set a crappy bo for a fast sale , one guy was selling at a loss on BO at one time . Either the dumbest guy in eu or a price fixer crafter . if everyone undercuts then yes "what is the point" simply others will ruin your ped flow . and yes separate Auction history's for planets was obviously needed after RT and the problems people had there trying to make a living/breakeven with callipso prices .(though this doesnt realy come into play with TH since it is new and ark only )
Well if everyone thought like that i would hate to see the prices on crafted goods. It's kinda sad you want to take advantage of the low supply in auction when thousands of peds of treasures are tt'd every day.
What crafted treasure based good are you referring to? The only thing that sells from TH based crafting is Metal Residue or did I miss something?
Was more thinking about the general attitude that people should put stuff in for huge markups just because there is limited supply. Sure it can work in some instances, but most people who follow that advice will just end up with wasted auction fees and no peds on their cards. People are undercutting each other in auction because the TH stuff is worth next to nothing, not because they are dumb players.
i said nothing of huge markup or anything like. ok continue to undercut, then next week the mu is lower so u undercut that then 2 weeks mu is 0 . congrats !! Just tt it this week so i can atleast try to sell mine with a small markup . btw the "dumb" player wasnt just losing out on proffit, with the auction fees he was losing ped , as in LOSING = dumb or fixer . ty for trying to read my post .
Ya I don't know either why someone would sell in AH that doesn't even cover the AH cost. Someone sold carabok leg fur for 95% they could have made more money selling that leg fur to the trade terminal. I see stuff like this all the time and don't really understand it myself but it is part of the game dynamics and we all just have to live with it. But sales on items that cover at least the AH fee are all fair game and ok in my book, the person is trying to beat selling to the TT and trying to get the real fast buyout. I see absolutely nothing wrong with this. Remember that MU% on an item is not the true value, it is just what the AH average sales indicates. I once again say know your price stick to it, buy those low offers and resell at your price and make a few ped off others quick sells. That's all part of the market game. Thing that I find horrible are the people that try to sell at twice what something is worth, that is total waste of listing price as only the fool hearty or the very impatient will ever buy those items. It is more of a AH fail then selling for under current MU in my book. EDIT: if they are trying to bring the market back up have the start big at current markup and the buyout ped or two high and walk the price up. doubling or event tripling the current mu is just bad sales strategy. I do this kind of thing all the time start bid under mu and ending big slightly higher then current mu and MU's do slowly go up. Just look at the Ark-20 it was down to 106% I walked it up to 113% and that is a good price to cover crafting those items and make a few ped off them. If I sold them at 106% all the time I'd never come ahead crafting them. did 106-108, 108-110, 110-113 few weeks ago and now for entire week I had sales at 113% and people are happy with that price and so am I. If I would have went from 106-113% jump I'd probably still be waiting for my first buyer as people will see it as I am trying to charge double what others had paid in the past.
Well looks like there will be a reason to hit treasure hunting big time next week. Way to go A-Team thanks for addressing this pretty fast.

After over 6weeks with no SOOTO, today it seems to be payback time for me. One regular treasure hunting run, 4 SOOTO. 4 vases and an armor piece of the nice kind... loot comes in mysterious ways /Slupor
I just heard from a soc mate that he got 4 vases today as well. I'm glad they drop more, but why on the day i don't have a lot of time to play?
Something out of the ordinary. When you find a treasure hunting claim, you may also find an item such as an ancient jar, painting, armor, or weapon.
SOOTO = Something out of the ordinary. Its what miners get as their special loot..Thats how the special crafting things were found and the UL mining amps on Caly. Now A Team has integrat special items of their own for Treasure hunters to find things like the storage vases, paintings, and special armors even. I even looted a vase yesterday after 3+ years of not having one. EDIT: haha neil was posting same time as I was. he just isnt as long winded it seems.
