Or at least go Spoight when ya whack em?

I dont picture the mummy thing I see more like annikan skywalker field surfing that huge tick looking thing in starwars where he falls and fakes gettin hurt so the lil hottie crawls all over hi.......dam train went around tha bend again.

 

Nice graphics but it's the rest of the information I need before deciding about them...

How big are they in comparison to a player? What level of player are they aimed at? Are they the Ark version of a Tantilion or a Spider?

 

Difficulty is determined by which door you go into. Level 1 is noob friendly, level 10 is not. Same mobs, different levels.

The Ubo is 1-1.5m tall.

 

looking at this mob again and getting excited. I really hope these are small low hp mobs still. ii've always wanted a killfest where you gotta do a ton of one shot kills with a wave of mobs.

 

I thought Dave said 'all new mob(s)' in the instances, as in plural, so I was hoping to see new different mobs in the different levels, since they are a progressive toughness. Guess we will see soon enough now

 

He did. There are 6 new mobs for the instances. The Ubo was specifically asked about size in the interview and so that's what he talked about. But since there are only 6 new mobs, it stands to reason that probably all 6 will be in there. I believe it's supposed to be the same "run" with the same goals and the like.. just different levels. If that makes sense.

 

It certainly sounds like the instancing system is being used as I would imagine it would be for this sort of thing i.e. it makes more sense as a dungeon.

But on Calypso I still won't accept them as a Beacon.

What's the time limit on these? As the Calypso version is 20minutes I think.

 

aprox 30 minutes on ark
on caly its 30 for Noobone under PA
and 60 minutes for normal

 

I may have been thinking about Kim's original post regarding timing on beacons then.

 

Not sure what you guys are talking about timing.....

Dave said that the instances on Ark will have no time limit.

 

Would like a kreltin like mob, but tougher for the instances. And no time limit, and make it so we can do the instance solo too.

Then, we can do instances all day, just like hunting

-Instances have no time limit
-You can do an instance solo as long as you're in team

 

Will we see hides on this creature? or will it spawns outside instances to be looted like normal?

 

Before you get too nuts on that, just remember this is levels 1-3.
