It's my first time used OF 105 + OA 103 and I'm quite nervous. When I first arrived at Rogue Plains, I got several size VIII, VI and V. I got killed by Combibo and revived at the Outpost. So, I ran East again and drop few more bombs...

Suddenly, I heard the trumpet's sound again... lol



Thought this run is going to be ended with one global, but Azz Man said, that it's only the beginning. So, I dropped the rest of my bombs and got another Size XII Erdorium at N of Rogue Plains.

Then, I switched to Cape Corinth and got another Size XII Iron and many size VIIIs + Vs claims.

In the end, the run ended with 1 XV Erionite, 1 XII Erdorium, 1 XII Iron, 10 VIIIs, 1 VI, 7 V and 1 IV. :wtg:

PS: The 145 angel scales sold to Strash for 54.74 peds too lol Also, the Size XII Iron were used for crafting Basic Screws.

As you can see from the above statistic, the first 250 bombs return rate were lower than the 80% return rate, which is only around 72.88%! Also, the baddest run was run No.4, where I only managed to get back less than 23% tt return for a 50 peds run :/

The latter 250 bombs were tremendously awesome, where I found 5 IX claims, 1 XI and 1 XIV Alferix's global. The total return rate for the latter 250 bombs were 131.95%, or equivalent to 329.88 tt peds! Furthermore, 3 out of 5 runs for the 250 bombs were profitable

Congrats on the HOF, it might sound odd to you, since your into the high end technology, but while I was in a soc, we did a lot of testing and betting, I won. It seems that 90% of all the hits you'll get are close to the surface, at least within the normal range. There are very few hits (overall) for deep mining, and almost all your hit's that pay the bills are from normal things like : Lyst,Belk,Durilium,etc.

So I stopped using amps and high tech equipment, I mine exclusively with all 102 equipment, good, solid, dead normal, and I get just as many hits as I ever did, my daily average, over a year or more is likely 60-70% return, with days making good profit. So averaging them all together I still lose, slowly, as we all do, but 70% return guaranteed on every run isn't bad, I can keep going without making deposits for a long time on one good hit. Without breaking the bank on cost and decay,lol.

 

Woot, 70% tt return sounds pretty good for a miner, mate. By the way, one of my friends from NBK Army told me that the efficiency of the amps are directly affecting our Hit Rate + claim sizes. Let's say, those miners that want to use OA 103s at least have reached level 3 or higher. However, level 3 is "merely" enough for using the amp. If we want a higher efficiency, our prospecting level must be three times higher than it, which mean at least level 10 or more!

Oh well, i'm still doing my OA103s' test here, let's see the final result, after I burned over 20 of it...

 

Well, gl, its been years since I even looked at my stats, so no idea what mine are.I even chipped out some a few years ago, but all that doesn't bother me, I do what I like to do, and today went enmatter mining to add a little to my vehicles, got 15 ped worth in my vtol, and around 10 ped worth in my hovercraft, and each has a little in storage, so I think I'll make it for a few days when Arkadia opens.

Watching the story I'm thinking now thta the fleet has arrived, they'll have a story about getting unloaded and setting up the network before we're allowed in, so at the earliest, another two weeks or so, we'll just have to wait and see.

 

Oh yeah, me also can't wait for Arkadia's Planet to be launched, Krm lol
