One thing to remember about story lines.... Nobody likes stories about how the leaderships incompetence let to a massive problem.... Calypso is well known for their screw ups, both story line, and game related. Arkadia's story line is they saved Calypso from a robot invasion. The story is Calypso messed up, and Arkadia saved the day.... we like that ending

Calypso throws events where some massive screw up happened, robots invaded, mobs created in labs then escaped, some officer got killed when he thought he was getting a BJ in some dark alley..... by a Feffox... hahah....

Point is.... story lines don't have to revolve around some screw up... after a while it gets old... Makes you want to rank up, just to fire who ever messed the last situation up.... But I dont think a high ranking IFN could fire a soldier on Calypso .... It might be fun to try however

On second thought, the word "Armament" always makes me think of the big toys: tanks, howitzers, U-boats, &c. "Weaponry" on the other hand makes me think of what a soldier/ fighter can held in his hand: sniperrifles, swords, pistols, &c. Because of that I am inclined to think that Scott & Barlow is a manufactor of the big toy Armaments, in other words: that we will get Arkadian vehicles. Looking at the logo of Scott & Barlow, the red Ancient-Greecian warhorse, I also tend to think more in the terms of panzers.

At least Google-Image tends to agree with my perception of armament vs. weaponry.

[end note] Probably I am nitpicking, but I find it intriging that in the headline the word "Armament" is used, while in the text the word "Weaponry" is used twice. [/note]

 

What is able high ranking IFN we shud investigate.
I dont belive that IFN Press Officer was in coma from 28.02.2015 to 13.03.2015.
Maybe he was hospitalised for excesive drugs usage or maybe he was kidnaped by smuglers or ...
Maybe he reported news about cargo ships full of godies to generals first.
And generals took the time to rob anything valuable before letting news to public on 13.03.2015.
In that case - yes high ranking IFN is able to do many things.

 

I agree with Ardorj, this could be the long-awaited dropships.

We also briefly saw a wreck of one of these S&B cargo ships in the PVP zone, that might be construed as support for the idea of tanks or PVP vehicles of some sort.

 

Well it say against oratans and smuglers.
So i hope it contain weapons at least to fight against oratans.
For smuglers bah if realy need to be vheicle as cause of all troubles then maybe tank as free target for sumglers attack.

 

aww Neil... that is what we have been trying to avoid saying for a few months now...

And, I hope it is not PvP related gear, since this game does not support a good PvP system. There are too many hacks and cheats in play.... and what is PvP when there is no difference between a head shot and a foot shot? It is a joke of a system.

 

and I have even got screenies and had to keep them quite for MONTHS too ;P Thats been VERY hard work ! ! ! !

That wrecked ship in the PvP zome was surrounded by scattered cargo crates big enough to hold even pretty big weapons but not tanks - if that means anything at all

yep, it does seem that Cyrene is holding up this VU

 

We'll be waiting a long time if we have to wait for Cyrene to be ready.

 

Hopefully they can solve their mess soon. I do feel for the players though.
