There appears to be a Universe wide issue ongoing with Entropia Universe. This started around 16:44 with 15 Mins of loot lag. This is currently Resulting where you cant logon. I don't know how much they'll lose, but it will be quite some! There has been talks about bad weather in Sweden, and it might just be that that may be the main culprit. Fixing it might be out of the hands of MA. For those that have missed it, just before the second crash it was announced that the Oratan event will last a day longer, so those missing out now due to the crash have an extra day to slaughter them. But untill we get a message from Bertha, there is no certainty in what the problem is, when it will be fixed, etc. I don't even know if they can access the internet at all over there at the moment.
I'm from the Netherlands, and yes we have had some bad wather, but it was a little. Generally stuff nothing to worry about. Agreed, well, in case the server crashes are from the servers in the Netherlands, there's a chance I might read about it in the news if it's weather related. Sometimes they also write about power outages in the online news.
Well, google is a charm today! The dutch MA servers are in Schiphol-Rijk, which is a bit north on the map of where the lightning strikes have been, but nowhere close. The weather seems to be a bit meh in some places but its nothing to really worry about. Although I really doubt anything serious has happened regarding the location of the servers obviously it can never be excluded. And our coastal lines are fine If something spills over, dont worry, we arent made out of sugar

I'm around the corner from the servers, and during the (aprox) period they went down, there was a thunder and lightning strike damn close by. Loud enough to drop the phone from my hand, and make a very undignified squeaky noise. View attachment 9878 But I don't think that's the cause for the game being offline though. Last time something like this happened at Schiphol-Rijk was last year, and it took about 8 hours to fix it. But at the time, the news about it was all over the place; while I can't find anything atm. Oh well, at least we still have access to the interweb and RL. And the Oratan will wait a day for us.

Game is up. Gold Card entry went through also. Edit: Loads of lag. Logged in but wasn't able to get out of my apartment. Went to relog but just get timed out after entering security code.
