Resources(ore/enmatter) dropping from any mob at Arkadia?

    I mine and hunt so no real bias, but If it's ok to get mining loots (ores/enmatters) from hunting, then shouldnt it be time to get hunting loots (guns/armour) from mining? After all it makes as much sense to find a gun on the ground as in an animals entrails :) and this is supposed to be a treasure hunting planet.

    Also I'm not sure how it helps the whole economy to increase the drop rate of certain rare ores, sure it helps the crafter in the short term who needs to buy the ores but in the long term the items he/she crafts are devalued. Meanwhile the miner is losing out and so is the trader.

    I agree that it would be nice to get more offworld ores in the system (though I think it should be through mining not hunting) but I'm guessing that MA's long term strategy is exactly the opposite of this to promote inter-planetary trade.

    All succesful Earth side colonies had unique items of value that allowed them to thrive, sure they had to pay a premium for comforts and necessities from their mother-countries but this was offset by trading the unique commodities the colony was often set up to extract (tobacco, silk, spices, slaves, opium, tropical fruits, cotton etc. ) What I would like to know is WHERE and WHAT are our unique items that will be sought after by the other planets and thereby offset the cost of the items WE wish to acquire?

    I like that post, nice ideas :) I'm not sure how it would work out tho.... =) let's see what happens when treasure hunting arrives! =)
