    .... is there a Riptor mission - as I'm killing all these mobs for no globals, it would be nice to get something back!!

    Yes there is. Stop by any firebase and use the IFN terminal (by the poster) to obtain the Riptor IFN mission. The IFN terminal is also located at the quarry and CH MIL HQ building.
