    This is likely useless after what Mathias posted.
    But I didn't see the counter until I finished a mission level III (bandits) and got mission IV (thieves) 3 days ago.
    And still getting the counter tonight.

    I have the same issue as @Michael. It's probably due to not having finished the current stage of the Oratan missions. I have no intentions to start and finish my next one to test this theory though (too costly).

    it worked for me right after the VU, and I was a few days into my thieves already at that point... so it MAY be something else, cause as soon as I finished the daily I was on, it showed when I grabbed the next day's mission...
