Planet Arkadia Update 2015.2 (17th March)

    Well they could stay below the hill where the FB is but above the cliff side, where the majority of the spawn used to be. I relocated to a different FB yesterday and found a better spawn. Hopefully that spawn will remain as good when I come home from work today.

    Why cant we simply have single maturity spawns?

    Trouble then is that everyone can go for anything which defeats the idea.

    Even equal or lower fails since you only ever need go for Thugs or Bandits

    Bigger, better balanced spawns makes more sense - the issue is simply down to lack of a certain maturity at any given location.

    Or maybe just make it points based? 1=Thug, 2=Bandit, 3=Thief etc and then say the total is, for example 100 kill points daily for Corporal card, 200 for Sergeants, 300 kill points daily for Staff Sergeant or whatever then the spawn make up or maturity spread doesn't matter as much.

    Not sure if they can change things between VUs... saw a lot of times on forums "we'll fix it next VU". :)

    This is the best idea. It's bad enough having to hunt little mobs without having to hunt really little mobs. And if you adjust it like this then please put in some big maturities so those of us who didn't start the game last week can hunt something worthwhile.

    Sounds reasonable. Though I can't help to feel this is just another way of making things "too easy" just because some players find it unacceptable to hunt for 3-4 hours. Sure, I don't enjoy cherry picking for hours on end but at the same time I don't want to reach the highest IFN rank within 3-5 months. I'm hunting bandits right now and there will come a time where I have to pause because the mobs become a tad bit of a challenge due to lack of skills. If we have point based missions I'd go back to Thugs and that's not exactly a challenge.

    I dont have 3 - 4 hours to waste on puny type mobs if I want enjoyment and fun then I would be going for kadra / teladon / heun or scoria I am aware this is probably just me and theres a balance in what people are able to deposit and play with but I would still like to do the IFN dailys I dont really want to get bored of my tits grinding low level mobs when i can be having more fun and spending more on other mobs.

    Less than 6k sweat to farm for that passport, but with every reply to the spawns for the missions I get less and less willing to even get the passport.

    Not really happy with the change. People will stop buying or designing clothes if this is going to continue and ruin what we put some good money into..................it's total BS!

    Stating the obvious here - you don't have to do them daily. I split mine between several days if I can't do the 100 on one day, because I don't have the time on week days to grind all at once - just like you.

    To my mind, this doesn't make it easier overall. Yes you can, as you say, go for 300 Thugs instead of 100 Thieves, or 500 Thugs instead of 100 Looters. That may make it less of a challenge, but certainly more expensive.

    So at least you do have options. You can stick with finding the 100 whatevers, or you can get a lot more lower maturities, or fewer higher maturities. Means as you get higher up the ranks, this choice becomes more important ie time (wait to find the level) versus money (kill anything just to get the points)

    Plus, it I would have thought it would make it easier to change - all you do is alter the missions, not the spawn algorithms?

    This is a "kill certain mobs to get a promotion" mission so it seems fair enough to make it a bit more difficult as you progress. I see no reason why it should be made easier so that we have 500 Generals running around.

    Its called daily mission not weekly or monthly.
    Again - what is reward to become general ?
    Can we compare "general" reward with missions rewards ( we are going to kill more mobs here than at least 3 IFN or irron mission chains together what cost a lot of time)
    Can we compare rewards with other planets daily missions ?

    Its just one of modes to keep ppl on Ark so no biggie even if there will be 500 generals running arround
