    Important Note on the Underground Area

    The underground area is not yet available, we strongly recommend not downloading it as there is no advantage doing so prior to its release - you will still need to download the final content when it is released at a later date.

    New Content


    • Material Textures for Creatures have arrived!
    • Celeste Harbour Town Square Overhaul, Phase 1 complete.
    • Cave systems added near Courageous Firebase Academy and Resolute Firebase Academy.
    Issues Fixed

    • Minor resource availability adjustments.
    • Lidacon can now be found again.
    • Scopes and Laser Sights have had erroneous references to (L) versions removed from their descriptions.
    • Quil Sap colour scheme fixed.
    • Fixed head positioning in death animations for: Tiarak, Beladoth, Zadul, Otorugi
    • The Archaeological Society has improved their seating arrangements so that visitors can sit down and relax.
    • Bridge ramp height on a bridge southwest of Resolute Firebase fixed.
    General Changes

    • Celeste Quarry Teleporter is now accessible to everyone without the need to first visit it.
    • Tiarak maturity adjusted in Sanctuary Crossing and Sanctuary Shores.
    • Ambient light levels at Night increased.
    • Underwater visibility improved.
    • Madana, Halix, Carabok, and Jori are now more colourful.
    Known Issues

    • There is no Arkadia Material Texture Blueprint in the Technician, the Carabok Texture Blueprint will be found there in the next update.
    • Material Textures are missing their recommended levels.
    • Descriptions on weapons still refer to specific ammunition types and not the new merged types.
    • Weapon sounds can vary from shot to shot on some weapons.
    • Limited Blueprint Book cannot be coloured or textured.
    • Some types of eyewear can appear outside or on top of the Armour Helmet.
    • Skin from some face/head shapes can be seen when wearing Armour Helmet.
    • Televators in buildings may link to the building next door in rare cases.
    • Feran are afraid of getting too close to the ground.

    warning to those grinding textures, They may be in game, but this bug to me suggests they are unlootable.

    In next VUs, please upgrade the rock walls textures in the caves... they're too poorish...

    I really like the new skins of the Carabok and Halix (haven't seen the Madana yet though). The creatures themselves are much cooler looking now. Bug (reported in support case): when you scan the Carabok and Halix they do not show up in the info screen.

    The Jori is another story. :eek:
    This one was a disappointment. I understand the need to brighten them up a bit so they are more visible underwater, but the new colors are oversaturated and look photoshoppy. The texture of the skin is the worst part though. I really liked the look of the old Jori skin (so fishy looking), even if it didn't seem to match what the creature actually looked like. The new skin just looks like a scrap of neon orange wallpaper. I can't see wanting to put that texture on anything. :(

    Oh well. I am happy to have an update and overall the addition of textures is very welcome. The new Halix and Carabok hides are awesome looking (imagine a Carabok skin couch). I just had to express my opinion on the Jori and hope that maybe it can be reevaluated if many others agree.

    There's also a cave at Celeste Harbor Military HQ, leading to the quarry. I like the new carabok texture... only question I have is... I thought they were supposed to be red for increased visibility? Mine are GFP green. Don't get me wrong, I think green is a cool color, I'm just wondering if my installation is like everyone else's!

    Yes Neil, the Carabok texture (and actual mob) are green with spots. It's the Halix that's bright red. They don't look so similar anymore. :)

    Ah halix are red. Cool. I just explored the cave systems around courageous and resolute, and I have to say AWESOME! I especially like the fact that there seem to be no turrets (except that the turret from Courageous FB seems to be able to shoot through the rock into the cave system). Beladoth certainly look good underground, natural cave dwellers! If turrets were an oversight, it's a serendipitous and awesome one, and I hope it stays a mob-friendly zone! What's a cave without a little danger? :D

    ist MA balancing team or A team who decide that animal textures are using basic lether extractors to craft ?


    so much about being prepared
    looted 10k purple hides
    ... now they are neon green
    hunted spacemobs in lootable space to get 100k advanced leather extractors
    ...its basic what crafting need

    EU is dynamic killer of dreams
    i should stop lissening what all can be possible in future
    and stop stockpilling items in advance

    once again fooled unhappy participian:(

    and arkadia has had some nice other updates.

    am trying to sneak onboard a ship warping to get there ASAP :)

    How come it's still pitch dark at night? I can't see a thing. Looks like it's even darker then it used to be before the update.

    Looks kinda bright on my screen actually. At least on my laptop, will have to wait until I get home from work to check it on my desktop, but they look about the same as both are lcd's and calibrated close to the same settings. You might check your monitors settings, that could be part of the problem. Or is this only a problem on Arkadia?

    Yep, it's only on ark. it's not that dark on caly or NI.

    Not only is it brighter than before, but I may be susceptible to moonburn... :dark:
