btw one thing that seems to be of concern to players is the smuggler chain too unlock the warehouses.
I am on last stage of Navi, and that seems to have survived for me to complete, but it seems others are completing lower levels of the mission mobs and have no continuance.

And trophys? all 4800/5000 kills iron are gone... and the trophys? like the combat mask? gone with the wind...

 

Yeah, faster micro rewards that you get to choose but all those "extras" that give the world some flavour and distinguish it from the others are gone. No more IFN drop ships, uniforms, ranks, trophies, etc. May as well be anonymous creature blob #8 that you kill 113 times for a reward. Rinse and repeat. Hope there are "Arkadia" specific mission chains to differentiate the planets - CODEX so far seems to makes everything Pablum. Nothing to differentiate the planets from Calypso so come to Calypso so MA can make all the $$$. Soon it will be the Entropia Planet and its X clones.

 

Today the next days IFN Payback Mission was back in the mission terminal. Looks like they've restored some of the individual planets' flavour.

 

Is there a possibility to still get some trophy heads when doing codex, would be nice for those who are collecting those over the years

New events I cant compete in are not really a concern. Neither is updates to a moon or underground when there is so much left undone on the planet.

Along with many people I would like to become a smuggler and work warehouses some year, so finding a solution to that should be a priority.

Longstanding bug fixes to harvesting the land plots, putting items in weapon cabinets, and sitting in the allure furniture should have been done a long time ago. A long time before a moon was ever exploited to generate money for something else that goes unfinished. Underground is not even complete, IMO.

I like the idea of giving more shops away, there should be more in circulation, but more shops in the hands of people who wont use them is not a solution, see my post in the signature below.

I am neither encouraged nor impressed by the announcement of this event. What would be more then satisfactory is solving current problems before capitalizing on new ones.

I tend to think that the two (fixes and events) are unrelated. I think the Ark owners/developers are MIA and just taking the residuals from the remaining players while the EU overlords are trying to squeeze the Ark players to other planets in order to "encourage" a sale of Ark so that the the new owners could do a reboot similar to Toulan (?). They bring in these changes as updates (here's CODEX, hides don't drop nearly as much) or competition (any bets that prime awards/ongoing story lines are tied to Calypso or events there?). CODEX and the Events are run by the EU team while bug fixes for land plots, furniture and the like are done by the missing Ark team.

 

No, I get it. Corporate does not care about the broken toilets or leaky roof. They just want their posters put up and to keep the money flowing. Well, the manager stopped showing up and the owner is on vacation in the Bahamas and wont answer his phone. All thats left is one cashier, and that's enough to keep the money machine sending in checks to HQ until the owner comes back and hires a new manager, or the franchise get sold to someone who cares.

I just dont think introducing a promotion, like Codex, or an event, like Gold Rush, while the entire planet is in free fall is very prudent. So the toilet is broke and the roof leaks, COME GET DOLLAR BURGERS FOR $1.25 AND HAVE YOUR WEDDING HERE!

I've seen events like this before. A few big spenders and a few people who work for MA will show up, win all the prizes, and leave. It will be a distraction, really. But not a solution to anything.

I hope you are right and it least brings someone to the table to step up and drive Ark forward, instead of into the dirt. Really, I am so glad I did not buy Moon deeds because really, it looks like a scam, and Im just afraid Gold Rush is the NEXT SCAM. Like the Cyrene Paneleon Armor was a scam. Like Land Plots and harvesting is a scam. Scam after scam, its hard to buy into it anymore.
