    A new thread will be created for voting. Winners will be decided by the Arkadia Forum community through a Voting Poll. The poll will be open for two weeks.

    here my pix also me on pix lol but i wish those 3 walkbrigdes change to tree logs. i will wait till after jan 20th or later i will tell where this pix take. i image to walk around forests w/ lot of rivers move thru valley or canyons. it will confused u to know where to go. i keep image if they have alot of river maze around canyons. lol i dunno....

    [​IMG]Here's my 3 submissions for the photo contest. But first some background to these pictures I took.


    Back in Grade 11 I took an experimental education class focused on the environment, athletics, leadership, and the outdoors. This course package included 4 credits, so I was with the same people all day (like elementary school). Every year this class took a big trip. Ours was to the Grand Canyon. We flew into Las Vegas and traveled all around, from the Hoover Dam to Sedona. But the best part was hiking the Grand Canyon for 3 days, from top to bottom and back.

    Until you see it yourself, it is impossible to imagine the immense size and beauty of it. I was shocked to say the least. It was the most amazing experience in my life (to hike the Grand Canyon).


    I picture Planet Arkadia to have a wide variety of landscapes, from vast canyons to lush jungles. Something with the same scale as the Grand Canyon would be amazing on Planet Arkadia.

    Man this really sux...I love photography and have been all over the world when I was in the Navy. I had many many boxes of pictures from all over. Some would even make you cry seriously. Sunrises at 4am on the eastern mediterainian just after a massive thunderstorm with the light beams breaking thru clouds like the proverbial God parting the storm clouds to talk to you.

    Children from some of the poorer nations showing the love they have for life even under poor circustanses. Easter Mass at the Vatican with literally hundreds of thousands of poeople in harmony with the world. Pictures of the incredible art in the Vatican it self. Wild life, beautiful cars, models I worked with in the past when I actually worked as a photographer for a short period.

    Sadly most of those have been lost when I got injured and couldnt pay the bill at a storage unit where a good portion of my life was stored.
    Hopefully the person that bid on my stuff appreciates what he had recieved. Maybe I can show a few of the local pictures I took last year with the new digital camera I got. Ill look thru the albums for the few that may be worth a look.

    I dont have any landscapes or places shot yet but I did post a few interesting shots I took messing around with my new camera.

    All the zoom shots are frehand no tripod at 20x mechanical zoom and 2 with that + 80x digital. The one of the old soldier was 4 blocks from where I was sitting in my friends yard. The squirrel however was less then 2m away. He is very friendly and not shy in the least when its coffee time on summer mornings.

    Just peek into my folder here to see them as I wnt take up contest space for non entries.

    hehe geat pics but PLEASE no more unclimbable walls in the game.. I have had more then my fill of that crap since VU 10.

    As for the desert pic with the two tall sandstone towers I believe George Lucas forgot those when they made the pod racer scene in starwars episode one. They are also in the video game..I use them alot to scrape sibulba off my tail
