    Hey!

I would like to see more Ocean mobs introduced to Arkadia!
....and please no small designed once like Jori's.... we need something bigger, maybe twice the size of a huon etc.. but a body like a whale ;).

Dammit! Bring us some ocean life

EDIT: Maybe something like the anglerfish:

Yes, I'm all for diversity of mobs, but don't bother if they're going to constantly get trapped for no apparent reason like water mobs on other planets do.

I like hunting underwater as the ambient sound and the seascape are quite relaxing, but it needs to be a reasonably large mob with big hitboxes. Those Jori are a bit pesky to target from a distance. And as OLeg basically said, it needs to be well implemented with no functionality issues. Do it well or not at all.

I see David voted yes, soo... :)

Yes, would be cool to have more of them. Something that would make a Leviathan look like a guppy, a beast so enormous that it could have an instance within :)

Answer is 'yes' if it will be not as on Calypso (Razor and big Levi together)
And yes, more health points (2-5K+) to kill please!

Damn i would shit my pants if i saw a monster looking like the anglerfish. Think of it, its night and you barely see anything in the water, then something looking like a flashlight gets closer to you and when you see the monster open its mouth with those long sharp teeth... nuts!

Not sure HP would be best for them but they can be fun, the Horned Whisker Fish on Cyrene are cool, as are the Jori tbh.

    Not tried Leviathan, or Calypsocod.

I'm pretty sure the underwater mob unreachable bug is caused by the movement range of the critters and the elevated and often ruff geometry of the floor. If the designers were able to implement a no-spawn zone, like the top of the Event Waves at +167, this problem would likely prevent the unreachable bug as the critters wouldn't have the mobility to get caught in a combination of corners on the floor.

David, you came, you saw and you voted.... thank you for that, much appreciated!
...however, I would "love" to read your own thoughts/plans about this. :)

    ...must have HP like Proterons
...must have damage like puny mobs
...must drop Perseus UL parts (Gyro Imp, PBR-37 UL etc) in each global
...must gain skills like old Carabok's

    :D

We have no mobs with electric type of damage on Arkadia, and some sea mobs are electric in RL. Why not?
So electric damage is a good idea. But no so strong as Skrill :)

There might be a reason behind that... maybe the fact that electric dmg mobs often ends up as failed projects/less attractive.

It could work if you mix it with the regular Cut/Stab/Imp dmg types, but then with very low electric %... but I rather see acid dmg if i need to vote on a 4th type.

Make it simple, use same dmg types as current most hunted Arkadia mobs.

There is certainly room on Arkadia for ocean mobs, in fact we've already got one in progress, so likely you'll see it in first half this year, maybe others will follow.

Although there are some interesting concerns regarding megalomaniacal plankton (critter size / density / aggro range).
