New items added on log in, Map 1A and Map 3A

1a is for everyone
2a is for those "born" on ark
3a is for deed holders

Its kinda funny how many people are trading these already, players should just wait a bit, and see what happens when more information is released. Give the Dev's some time, Chris had already stated MA gave them out too quickly

I just loged in and recive second time the A1 map + christmas gift, but there seems to be some bug with the gift, everytime I open the vehicle tab where it is -> my game crush

 

I don't mean to rush anyone. Part of the fun is the guessing and trying to figure out what they're for. By the way, your thought for 3A can't be true. I have one, but don't, nor ever have, have any deeds (I assume you mean CLDs?).

 

No, CLD is some Caly thing.... This is Arkadia, so deeds would be a shop, apartment, booth, land area....

 

That makes more sense. Don't know why I thought of CLDs. But I don't hold, or have up to this point, any sort of property on Arkadia either.

@Amathera: I've had no problems with my game crashing. Your the first I've heard to have this problem with the gifts.

 

1a and 2a fit for me, but there are also people with a 4a, so what would that be then?
Though I wonder what those different 'ranks' would do in practice then. If they are for some Smugglers mission at least.

I saw people buying and selling them, and apparently there have no 5a been found yet.
So what would happen to the people that sell them now? Would they be stuck without any when it really starts?
Or would there be a new round of maps given out at the correct time?

Some 'treasure' hunt (no eggs though), or geocoaching sound good too.

Lol, you are absolutely right: I often forget some people have bigger mouths.
And I've been on my share of Snipe hunts in my life.


Btw, I first read it as: would you like to go hunting Snape?
And weirdly enough my initial reaction was: yeah why not, might be fun. :huh:

Haha, yeah, I had typed it Snape 3 times before asking in teamspeak what it was.... I knew Snipe.... but kept wanting to type Snape... lol

The last time we all got together camping.... we had sent out the "new guy" on a Snipe hunt...

Keys to a "Proper" Snipe Hunt:

*Alcohol
*Dark wooded area, Preferably at night, or close to dusk, in a relatively safe area <aka. no cliffs>
*hunter must have 3 things in their 2 hands <fumbling around is half the fun> a Flashlight, a Spatula, and a Gunny Sac of some sort.

The funny thing is he found a skunk, and caught a Snipe.... which had turned out to be a Grouse? we did not have much time to see it after he had let it out... Yep, it was one hell of a night....

Ha ha, that was really a classic Snipe Hunt, I've never done one of those. I just fell for stupid impossible tasks.
Though it is fun when there's an unexpected end, like with your 'new guy'.

A long time ago I was send out to buy a bottle of 'distilled air' for a school project.
Of course none of the pharmacies sold this. Until the last pharmacist, he started to laugh, and said: "this sounds familiar".
He came back with a very official looking, but empty bottle, complete with label. And then typed an invoice for me.
I had to show my pranksters the bottle and then give them the bill and say it was a copy, and that the original invoice of $1000,- had already been send to the principal.

The look on their faces when they heard that message was absolutely priceless!
(Sadly I can't think of things like that myself. So all other times they had the last laugh.)

But back to EU: even if the maps turn out not to have 'man-hunt' possibilities, I still kinda feel like having a Snape Hunt.
What do you think: Snape hides somewhere, and the first person to find him, wins?

I see too this map items. I have 2 1A and 1 3A. I want believe this will be after some next update random doors to Arkadia underground, not equal to Aakas doors. Something as old Beacon mission in Calypso. But if this will be true how we have more maps, looted? I think will be nice when we found a Jar in loot sometimes can have something inside?

 

Or it might be mark for location, where you need to drop probes and find random treasure. Might be anything actually.

 

Another question, why Christmas Nusul is red?
