About Magurg Male These are high HP mobs that global at 50 PEDs. Stalkers have 3850 HP, Prowlers have 2500 HP and Old Alpha have 1700 HP. So, they should global readily. The Stalkers hit a lot harder than Prowlers, who hit a lot harder than Old Alphas. For Alphas, Musca Adjusted should suffice, for Old Alpha you may want to add some plates or get a healer. If you want to hunt Prowlers and Stalkers, you may need better defences. Maturities at Aakas Island are set to have a large number of Stalkers and Prowlers, with a decent number of Old-Alphas and some occassional Alphas. Notable loot - Magurg Male Pincer: >900% MU - Generic Fuse: >300% MU I can buy Magurg Male Pincers at 925% MU and Generic Fuses at 300% MU from those hunting at AI (that is they have some globals recorded in Entropia Life in the past one week).

This is a promotional event to introduce folks to magurg males - high HP mobs that are easy to grind for mid-level hunters, good mission rewards, high MU loot, and globals readily (though I have noticed that on some days they can be stingy with those globals). To take full advantage of the event, highly recommend that you start this week so that you can win all 10 compets (that can be exchanged for 4 moon deeds) and then even win some AUDs with as little as 1 global a day! And if that was not all, any item drops with globals wins additional rewards from this event! Brick is a great example of how to do just that.

Brick is already going strong on the third week and looks all set to win this week's reward of 3 Compets or 60 PEDs. It typically take him less than an hour of hunting to get his daily global.

Since the conversion from Compets to Moon Deeds is expiring this week, I am discontinuing the Compet awards from here on. However the PED and AUD awards will continue till end of this year.
