Maxed levels for Arkadian textures

    Maxed levels are calculated by a formula Maxed level=(Recommended lvl*1.1)+2.5. The formula was figured out by Dessy.

    ***Typo: Carabok is maxed at lvl 3.6
    Miluca is maxed at lvl 3.05

    since you say Carabok is maxed at lvl1 I have to ask a question then.

    I'm lvl2.3 Material Designer but last i did a car for a person I used the normal 323textures/field in two fields one without anything, and the results was the worst I ever had on Carabok 70%ish on one field and the other 99.x% (which is what I normally get)
    Is that sucky result based on one field being empty or what? :/

    Hey!

    The maxed level are approximate values based on how the levels of Calypso textures and paints go and how levels of SIB items in game go. All Sib items have the recommended and maxed levels and textures and colors follow that pattern. That how I got the maxed levels for Arkadian textures since they should follow the same pattern.
    I should have said approximate in the thread, I will fix that

    Actually that is a typo - it should say 2.5, Ill re post the correct pic atm.

    So your fail accrued cause you're not maxed yet.

    BUT it has happened several times for me that a texture or a color that I was maxed on (like 10 or more levels as well, not just 1 or 2 level) failed cause I only did one field on that item, same using 323 textures per field.
    So ya, I do believe that you have higher success if you are customizing all fields on an item and not just one, and that it can fail otherwise.

    Summer, your last post is invisible in two of the available forum styles (Arkadia and Arkadian Night) and I think one of those is the default style. Might want to consider changing the font colour.

    The levels listed here are all too low
    For textures/colors up to lvl 16.3 (to max) for sure, and most likely up to lvl 19 it's (rec.lvl*1.1)+2.5=max level

    (Carabook should be Carabok)
    Ostelok is listed as 2.5, should be lvl 3.6
    Miluca is listed as 3, should be lvl 3.1
    Jori is listed as 3.5, should be lvl 4.7
    Halix is listed as 4, should be lvl 5.8
    Arkace is listed as 5, should be lvl 6.9
    Feran is listed as 5, should be lvl 6.9
    Oro is listed as 5, should be lvl 8
    Ospra is listed as 7, should be lvl 9.1
    Kaz is listed as 8, should be lvl 10.2
    Veda is listed as 9, should be lvl 11.3
    Hekia is listed as 10, should be lvl 12.4
    Lidacon is listed as 10, should be lvl 13.5
    Wenrex is listed as 13.2, should be lvl 13.5
    Zadul is listed as 14.2, should be lvl 14.6
    Banite is listed as 14.8, should be lvl 15.7

    And if Brown lvl 19 is correct (has been confirmed in the past before, I'm almost there to make sure of it):
    Tiarak should be 16.8, Hadraada lvl 17.9 and Bokol lvl 19

    Anything above that... I have no clue (yet)

    Updated first post with new maxed levels for the textures. The maxed levels are now calculated by a formula figured out by Dessy and are not a close approximation anymore.

    nice, fast updating! much better, the carabok and ostelok levels are still displayed incorrectly btw

    The formula only works up to 19 most likely. Because I'm guessing it's not really linear, but for the lower levels it works. After lvl 20 however, from the few max levels for colors that have been confirmed in the past (Turqoise and Dark green at 21.85) it is no longer accurate.

    To figure out the real formula that would apply to all levels, I would need more confirmed lvl 20+ data. So if any other colorers/texturers out there are skilling up naturally... please post the levels at which you max materials, it would help a lot =)

    Interesting observation. I've heard , and experienced, that texturing is much more likely to fail when texturing 3 fields (so it's a bad idea to make do with fewer that 323 textures per field on a 3-field job.)

    This result suggests that it's the availability of 3 customisable fields creates that issue, rather than the attempt to customise them all.

    So it makes no difference if you customise the 3rd field, or leave blank? Just be very careful with 3-field items
