    I completely agree that the mission should be like the daily on calypso. Or at the bare minimum the timer should not start when the mission is finished, but instead when the mission is accepted. Sometimes I spend 3 hours hunting thugs. Therefore need to wait 27 hours from the time the mission was accepted to get the next one. As mentioned eventually need to skip a day because the time gets later and later.

    ...would certainly make life a bit easier, agreed! :) even though it only took me 2h finishing them thugs today! XD

    I'm not really looking forward to getting to the Thugs now with you guys saying it takes 2-3 hours. I'm doing the punies in around 15-20 minutes and that gets boring enough. I suppose I could go in all guns blazing and kill everything in one shot but that doesn't match my usual eco style :D

    Another thing that would help with this, in addition to what I already suggested, is if the maturities demanded were a minimum, i.e. such that kills on higher maturities of the same mob still count.

    If your last suggestion was possible I would've finished alot quicker...now I started somewhat eco but soon changed to the guns-blazin-mode killing just about anything in my way!

    My experience with the thugs is closer to the one hour mark but that's still annoying and I am looking forward to finishing stage 2 so I can move on to a more common mob. I've taken to grenading the dense spawns of other maturities just to encourage more respawn of the maturity I want.

    I dont remeber what was befoee but i have same card in inventory as you and im doing Oratan Payback Mission III.

    Im still with mission 24 h reset issue.
    For me would be a lot easyer if mission restart for all players at 00:00 MA time so you can decide when to do it be it at 19:00 or 22:00 does not matter , after midnight you have again all day at disposition to do it and no need to track time.

    I agree with a set timer for the daily missions reset,
    it'd make life a whole lot easier,
    As i see it lets say you do it first time at 20:00 MA time, take 20m to do and so on till you rank up first time.
    By the time it takes, for a regular person, you will start waiting 2 days because of RL of course.

    A daily time reset would make it far easier to adjust and do them, or just skip them, just my tought.

    Thanks for the feedback here on forum and in game, and the daily reset counter will be adjusted next update so it will allow you to schedule your daily missions according to the times you usually play without waiting for 24hours on the minute.

    Yes, the uniform stays the same, but Lance Corporal and Corporal are different ranks :)

    @toecutter After you finish Thugs you're promoted to Corporal. The progression seems to follow US Marines' ranks except we skipped Private First Class. We'll see when someone finishes Bandits. Here's a list for reference: http://www.militaryfactory.com/ranks/marine_ranks.asp

    Theres no reason for thugs to take hrs you just have to cycle the whole spawn till the thugs spawn,Your actually doing yourself no favours by picking out the maturity you want.

    It also makes it harder for the next hunter that comes through the spawn because they have to cycle the whole lot to get the right ones to pop up but if the spawn was being fully cycled by every hunter out there it will always have the maturity you want and there will always be more spawning as you kill.

    This is probably the spot most are doing the thugs [15284, 15316] (under the spaceship) but I have found that if you simply run around this area one or two shoting everything it takes no longer than 30 mins (in 3 missions at this location thats the most its taken).


    These are the ranks for NCO's/WO's in the Australian Army....
    Recruit (REC)
    Private (PTE)
    Lance Corporal (LCPL)
    Corporal (CPL)
    Sergeant (SGT)
    Staff Sergeant (SSGT)
    Warrant Officer Class Two (WO2)
    Warrant Officer Class One
    Regimental Sergeant Major of the Army (RSM-A)

    As Daves an Aussie I would expect a similar structure.

    I'm currently doing the thugs mission. Have done it 3 times and so far it takes me 52, 57 and 53 minutes. Seems to go faster if I kill all instead of trying to only kill thugs. Should be noted that I'm not that eco, never am for missions. :)

    Think this is an acceptable time, to show your dedication to IFN.

    Ahhh yes, this is a better fit. I went straight to Marines since that's what was in a few places in the dialogue and also because IFN is, after all, the Navy.

    time will @Sniqs ...tell! ;) I must admit I leaned towards thinking they were to follow the US Marine Military ranks too though mate...even if I know David is an aussie! just forgot all about that I guess... :D

    Check the thug counter in each pic......

    90% Thief unfortunately but if they can spawn like that then thugs should too right?

    There was also about 5% Vandals in this group and a lot of the respawn was either Thug or Bandit(though I hadn't given it a chance to properly build back up before needing to log out).

    Remember people....Cycle that spawn!!

    We'll see what I find when I log back in :rolleyes:


    EDIT: Came back after maintenance and found a lot of Thief and Vandal here again but definitely more thugs once I'd been through.

    I know where to go for the Thief level.

    @Dan59 ...just thought of something...when I got promoted from "private" to "lance corporal" I had to hand in my "private" card to get a new card reading "lance corporal"...didn´t you have to trough this procedure when you got promoted from "lance corporal" to "corporal", same goes with @Nikto ?

    Thought I tried to hunt them Thugs as a civilian today to see how that goes, have a feeling them damn Thugs can smell the uniform coming knowing there is a bounty on em sneaky bastards...even worse though...however most due to the fact that which someone already pointed out...lots of ppl coming up from below now...so competition is getting stiffer, I started to late...as usual...:facepalm2:
