I understand your frustration, but you have to see the greater things. Mining WAS painful on Ark. A healthy economy and vibrant markups aren't kept alive by making resources hard to achieve (MA style, high aggro mobs everywhere), but by creating a viable offer/demand balance (Ark still has to achieve that in treasures, if you ask me, hope they'll never go MA way - just add new items and obsolete others while not removing them from database).
