If I understand right, trading that key for Arkoins would be the smartest thing to do ... simply cause that will most probably bring u a prize in the Gold Rush Arkoin Baron competition ... hard to think some1 will mass 300k before the Golden Key is made, but who knows ?

Thinking one step further, if no prize has been claimed in the Baron event by the time u do craft the 1st Golden key, u can claim basically all 3 prizes via "friend" avas ... or is there any limitation as in those 1 mil Arkoins cannot count for the Baron thing ?

All in all an interesting event bound to boost Ark's economy for the following months

Correct, you need to be the first to make a screenshot in this thread.

It is not enough to get the discovery. The first person to make the discovery might not be the first person who decides to trade it. The first five people to make one, for example, might all decide to use it to open the Arkadian Golden Door.

Your last part is correct. The first person to do all of the following will be first in line to claim the 1,000,000 Arkoins within 7 days:
a) Come into possession of an Arkadian Golden Key
b) Decide not to use it in an Arkadian Golden Door, but instead to trade it for 1,000,000 Arkoins with me
c) Post a valid screenshot proving ownership of the key.

Someone who gets a discovery won't necessarily do a, b, c above.

Interested to know what lvl the bp is? .... I mean do you need to be an uber crafter in order to successfully craft the golden key?

 

I would think so... Key 10 is lvl 5 so I'd expect the golden key to be higher. Also, I'm thinking the materials may be very rare, so it might something that hasn't even dropped yet.

nope, as far as i know they refuse to drop the final ingredient, and people ar sick of the tt losses in the instances.
It's like arkadia's own version of the hussk if you ask me.

I've been offered from 50 PEDS to 1,000 PEDS.

Offers, and attitudes from those who've offered to buy it, have left me unwilling to sell at this moment.

Maybe some enterprising, and courteous, crafter can come up with another idea?

This isn't really a selling thread. It's data for Minestar9 so she knows whats happening and why there won't be a Golden Key anytime soon.

 

I don't think you have the only codex available. I remember one listed on caly auction for SB of I think 2500 ped, which is just a silly insane price even without considering that a crafter will most likely need more than one for a single success. If you have an offer of 1000 ped, take it, that's way more than a single codex is worth. Why would you wait to sell it?

 

I think that was Naverith that listed his codex on auction. This guy had a spat with two of the nicer, respected crafters that make up at least half of his potential customers for the codex. 1K is an awesome offer for this item and he should restart talks with that buyer, whoever it is, even if it's one of the people who pissed him off. Online disagreements are often blown out of proportion and its worth the effort of smoothing things over given the limited market and potential value. Might be time to remember who is the customer in this scenario.

I try to keep an eye on this just in case something pops. I've been watching your posts to see what will happen, but so far nothing of significance is happening. I'm sure as soon as a Golden Key is available, I'll know about it.
