[Local] [Arkadia Official Dylan] : Yes, there will be a GoldRush this year [Local] [Arkadia Official Dylan] : it actually runs into next year
"Did someone get offended? This was not intended. Casual, yes, distant, no, right here and part of the frenzy. Taking note of forever recurring rituals, evoking childhood memories." That is nearly a catchy little jingle, last sentence lets it down though and maybe the "right here and part of the frenzy " could be smothed out a bit
I was merely remarking on the predictability of human behaviour, beginning but not ending with the incessant "are we there yet?" when visiting uncle and auntie who have a farm. Some things never change...
Hey that's cool, I agree. But things can be improved by orders of magnitude if they can be said in verse, or even set to music. Or, even performed by interpretative dance Or all three even \o/
Believe me, you don't want to hear me sing or watch me dance Maybe with a little professional help... Better? Hope it eases the waiting.
Yes the "Sound of Music" is a very apt mechanism for this thread \o/ Sadly; I don't think I looked like that at 16 He looked better in his Nazi uniform - even though it cost him the girl I will probably be 17 going on 18 when it comes to pass
What I would like to know for this years official GR, do we have a Cat. 1 instance for players <125 hp like the golden week?
yea tell us is there any hp limit before a week or two so that we can manage to chip out some hp to fit desired cat
When I read this I already don't want to participate. Can't you guys at least be a little less blatant about it?
I started over with a new account earlier this year. I am only crawling closer to 114hp now and if I know there is a newbie cat.1 for <125HP players then I know I can participate and have a chance of competing for prizes. If people want to 'cheat' by chipping out then fine, but the ESI markups are their losses - keep that in mind. Edit: I don't like the idea that people assume that I or anyone else are willing to chip out to be able to do the lowest catagory to take prizes from newer players.
I mean hp is not relevant to limit categories. Players can chip out to fit in other categories the limit should be on agility which one cannot chip out.
Yes, agility would work better, sorry if I came across Tumblr-level-offended earlier. I haven't looked much into the GR categories we had in earlier years, so I don't even know if it would be even sensible to have a profession cap on only the hunting category. I think we are best off playing the waiting game and see what the devs got in store for us next month.
Even attributes may not mean as much, considering old timer's started with 20, and if an old timer casual gamer is around, it is possible that he / she will have less pro levels/ health / skills at 30 agility compared to someone who started with 1 agility and build it up to 30.
The discussion has been had before (GR 1 yr ago) and, as predictably as everything else, will be ruminated again. The hp limit is a heuristic approach, there isn't a single criterium that could work as a catch-all. If the A-team comes across a better idea, we'll see it applied I'm sure.
It would be nice to know, I took the summer off the game so I wouldn't skill up beyond cat 1 which I find good fun, so I'm now sat with 124 hp wondering whether to carry on playing or have another month off. I wouldn't call that blatant or cheating just good preparation. Only now it seems it's all going to be something else??? Hey ho.
