Already reading and hearing news that some people stayed where they are.. Its sad to see people did not learn from others in the past that tried the same thing. On the other hand the loss of everything that you call home is a huge motivating factor. When it comes to man vs nature with nature being this extreme man will lose every time. Good luck and best wishes for surviving this to all in its path. On a side note yeah Jod that girl is very good. Thats alotta hours alone locked in her room practicing.
we were pretty lucky really, only 3 deaths to my knowledge (very sad still. but could have been a lot worse, and there are a few unacounted for), and one wasn't really realted to the cyclone. Actually there were like 5 babies born during it apparently so technically we a 1 or 2 ahead. Lots of buildings and homes down, but generally we know not to f*%k around with cyclones up here, we get ready and get out of the way.
Glad to hear that things are semi reasonable for what just happened. We STILL have un resolved issues from when Katrina hit us.
