@ Cyrus and / or Dave

Ok, I'm a bit a sci-fi geek when it comes to my reading choices...

And I just noticed an unusual coincidence between a series I'm reading and the name of the Firebase Academies.

Would there by any chance be any naming influence from Jack Campbell here?

Some names look familiar for me as old ship names from Earth History. So i take a list of Firebases i have in game, and start Google. Try all "Firebasename+ship". Almost all are ships names (british or other country) from 18 century to 20 century, and some sf series name too. But remember, spaceships names in sf series used be origin in real Earth history ship (sea ships) names.

First wave arriving Arkadia was a military structure, is the Fleet, almost all war ships. Is logic when they need give names to new sites, they choose names from old military and Navy warships from past history?

    Greetings.
