With the introduction of new planets/territories trade has become a really serious matter. For who is smart enough there are plenty of possibilities out there . Here a little sneak peek about. http://www.arkadiaforum.com/photopost/data/500/medium/update1.jpg ofc you can analyze the history of each item in a planet specific way http://www.arkadiaforum.com/photopost/data/500/medium/blacal.jpg http://www.arkadiaforum.com/photopost/data/500/medium/blaark.jpg 25aug: ok this is also very very cool http://www.arkadiaforum.com/photopost/data/500/medium/compare.jpg what is it? read here
hmm that could work out well! However that requires that the website displays all sales that happen in the auction... is that the case by now? The last time I checked there where quite some missing so the MUs where kinda flawed.
Looks very useful. Moved to the Tools & Utilities area and added the name of the site to your thread title, to avoid any confusion with a game update.
I was reading about the subject of ingame market value/history being planet specific now, some tests seem to suggest it is, and your tool clearly is showing different figures for the different planets. Can anyone confirm such a change in the system, I've seen no official word on it? I'm working with the idea it is all still universal numbers for now?
Checked eye oil with a soc mate and was exactly the same figures for him on Caly and me on Ark, if that was what you ment
yup this what exactly what i mean. Look like the ingame MV is a media of the all auctions data. This means we have 4 different auctions but the data are collected and analyzed by MA like coming from a planet only. Dunno how to judge this. so if i have a resource arkadia specific, let say an kind of ore, this will be more available and cheaper on arkadia, let say x %, but on calypso it will be rare so it will be x%+y%. So what we are seeing in game MV is (for example) ......((x%/number of sale) + ((x%+y%)/number of sale)) /2 ???? This will make the MV on arkadia go up and the MV of calypso go down. Like trader i would prefer to know the difference in MV in a planet specific way for sure. Buy an item at x% and sell it at X%+Y%. This ((x%/number of sale) + ((x%+y%)/number of sale)) /2 is not good for trading.
Ok thanks, it hasn't been separated then. As I said read somewhere that folks were seeing it differently and thought that was a big deal to have been implemented and not announced lol. Assuming this is all from what traders are asking in MU rather than what it's actually going for on auction.
25aug a new update http://www.arkadiaforum.com/photopost/data/500/medium/compare.jpg this is our itmes compare http://www.entropiabay.com/compareitems.asp when we made this it was supposed to be used by crafters to decide when to craft an item. In effect you can in one shoot analyze the MV of the necessary resources to craft an item and determinate when the MV is conviniente for you. But now you can use this tool to analyze items in a planet specific way. Until 10 itmes are allowed (at this time) how you can see in this example buy and sell in a planet specific way can be quite ....nice enjoy
Hey dendri, I don't get it. I went to the compare link (the second one you posted), and tried to select an armour to see what you meant by: This is what I got. View attachment 1900 I clicked "Add to Compare" but that didn't seem to make any difference. Am I doing it wrong? Cheers, Tim.
sorry, i guess it s my fault, i was not vey clear. When i mean for crafters, i was meaning the necessary resources to craft some. example: you want to craft canis helmet http://www.entropedia.info/Info.aspx?chart=Blueprint&id=1931 in entropedia you can found the necessary ingredients then you add this in the compare tool. You can see how the MV for this materials change over time (or even see on wich planet is better to buy them) and then choice when is a good moment to craft your item (low mv for the necessary resources)
yup this is a perfect tool for any crafter (i use it too) What my tool can do is some different. It tell you when is a good moment to craft an item based on MV. I would say that the 2 tools are complementary.
