How do you get a global and a hof in the same loot? Isn't it one or the other? I guess you could do it if you got two big claims mining.

we tried to start on RT but to few ppl to make it work there yet!

no acronym love for the pig? the vehicle A.R.C. P.I.G.V has always been too long and complicated for chat purposes. Hence the pig!

Agro (aggroing) - get a mob to become aggressive /attack you just by going in its proximity
ASAP - As Soon As Possible
AU - Astronomical Unit (measurement unit for distance in space)
Avatar - Character in Entropia Universe (as for example, in my case, Lovefall is Alexandra's avatar in EU)
BRB - Be Right Back
BBL - Be Back Later
BTW - By The Way
DING - Level Up / Skill Up
Dmg - Damage (of a weapon; done/received)
EULA - End User License Agreement (basically the agreement between players and the game company)
FL - Friends List
GL - Good Luck (often used as a hi/bye message in GL & HF - good luck and have fun)
HF - Have Fun (often used as a hi/bye message in GL & HF - good luck and have fun)
HP - Health Points (how much damage you can take before dying)
IGN - In Game Name
IMO or IMHO - In My (Humble) Opinion
Inv - Inventory (or in some cases invite [to a team])
Lat - Latitude (also used in Entropia as part of coordinates)
Long - Longitude (also used in Entropia as part of coordinates)
LOL - Laughing Out Loud
Mob or Critter - A monster (non-playing character) which you can't interact with, but just fight (kill or be killed - hahaha)
MT - Miss Tell (typing in the wrong chat window)
Newbie - New player (rookie); to not be confused with "noob" which is a derogatory term to define a stupid player
Noob - (Derogatory term) stupid player; to not be confused with "newbie" which just means a new player (rookie)
NP - No problem
NPC - Non Playing Character (a character, not mob, which you can interact with - for example a quest giver)
OMW - On My Way
Pet - Just like in real life, a company animal (mob) that follows a player
PM - Private Message (or Personal Message)
RL - Real Life
RL$ - Real Life money
PVP - Player Versus Player
THX - Thanks
TY - Thank You
Uber - Extraordinary; either referring to a really great loot or to a person with amazing skills/gear

Entropia specific terms and acronyms

(F) - An item that can be worn only by female characters
(M) - An item that can be worn only by male characters
A-Team - Name given to the developing team on my home planet (Arkadia)
ASD - Average Search Depth (also see a bit down what Search Depth means)
ATH - All Time High; a loot that is high enough to make it to the all times hall of fame list (highest loots ever)
Ark - Arkadia (planet)
BLP - Binary Liquid Propellant (one ammunition type)
BO - Buy Out (at auction house, for an item)
BP - Blueprint (which allows you to craft different items)
BPC - Blueprint comprehension (a skill you may unlock)
Cal or Caly - Calypso (planet)
COS - Chance of Success (when crafting an item)
CTD - Crash(ed) To Desktop (and yeah, it opens quite frequent)
CY - Cyrene (planet)
Deed - Certificate of ownership for an estate, apartment, land area, pet or mining claim
Depo, depositing, depositor - Act of depositing real life money; player that deposited real life money (in opposition with someone who plays for free)
Disciple - A young player being mentored by a more experienced player (called mentor); unlike in other games, here mentoring is hard coded and gives some rewards to both mentor and disciple
ESI - Empty Skilled Implant (used to buy/sell your skills to/from other players)
EL - Entropia Life (a very popular third party software used to track "globals")
EU - Entropia Universe (name of the game); in all other contexts it mostly refers to Europe / European Union
FAP - Fast Aid Pack (so basically a healing device); think no one will blame you though if you consider it as the standard First Aid Pack
Global - A loot over 50 PEDs that is shown in global chat (the equivalent of a jackpot on slots machines )
HA - Hit Ability (to not be confused with my very frequent "hahaha"-ing )
HOF - Hall Of Fame; a loot that is high enough to make it to the daily hall of fame list (highest loots of the day)
L or (L) - Limited (referring to items; it means that items can't be repaired when damaged, so it has to be replaced)
LA - Land Area (area that is controlled by a player; you can generally see it as a green marked area on the map)
LBML - Little Big Mining Log (a very popular third party software used by "miners")
MA - MindArk (the company developing and owning the game)
MA time or EU time - server time, which appears to also be the GMT time (still not sure about summer time)
Mentor - An experienced player mentoring a younger player (called disciple); unlike in other games, here mentoring is hard coded and gives some rewards to both mentor and disciple
ME - Mind Essence (the consumable "something" for mindforce chips - the equivalent of ammo, fuel, etc)
MF - Mindforce (the equivalent of "magic" in Entropia)
Mini - Loot that is bigger than average (so it is multiplied), but just not high enough for a global
MS - Mother Ship (biggest space ship, pretty much like a small town, able to transport lots of passenger and goodies and warp between planets)
MU - Markup (talking about prices - how much more expensive is a game compared with its trade terminal value; can be expressed either in +X PEDs [usually in case of items], either in +Y percent [usually in case of stacks])
NI - Next Island (planet)
NRF - No Resources Found (related with mining)
NSS - Neutral Space Station
OJ - orange jumper (the newbie orange clothes)
Pit - Pitbull Truck (vehicle)
PE - Project Entropia (old name for Entropia Universe)
PEC - Project Entropia Cent (in game currency, 100 PEC = 1 PED; can always be exchanged in real life currency, at a rate of 10 PED [1000 PEC] = 1 USD)
PED - Project Entropia Dollar (in game currency; can always be exchanged in real life currency, at a rate of 10 PED = 1 USD)
Pos - Position on the world defined by latitude, longitude and one more coordinate (altitude?)
QUAD - Quadwing Interceptor Jet/Spaceship (spaceship)
RT - RockTropia (planet)
SB - Starting Bid (at auction house, for an item)
SD - Search Depth (related with mining; how deep can you search for resources)
SI - Structural Integrity (or the so-called health bar of a vehicle/ship)
SIB - Skill Increase Bonus
SME - Synthetic Mind Essence (trade terminal version of mind essence - the consumable "something" for some mindforce chips - the equivalent of ammo, fuel, etc)
Soc - Society (the Entropia equivalent of a guild or a clan from other games)
Sweating - Gathering sweat from a mob (animals only) - probably best/safest way for a new/free player to make some money
Sweating circles - (Somehow) organized way of gathering sweat from an animal, where more people are sharing the hits
Swunting - Combination between sweating and hunting (gather sweat from an animal, then kill it)
Term - Terminal (general term, not referring to a certain type)
TP - Teleporter (not town portal as in other games, but still the sense is the same )
TT - Trade Terminal
TTing - Selling an item to the Trade Terminal for its trade terminal value
TT value - Trade Terminal Value (the minimal value of any item; that you can get for said item at any trade terminal)
UL - Unlimited (referring to items; it means that items can be repaired when damaged, instead of replaced)
Valk - Valkyrie buggy (vehicle)
VTOL or Sleipnir or Sleip - Vertical Take Off and Landing (flying vehicle)
VU - Version Update (update of the game)
WP - Way Point
