Economy is terrible on my favorite planet!

I never said that if you spend 50k ped on level 13 amps will get you success in mining. If that's what you got from my statement, you deeply misunderstood. Obsessing over the hof list, grabbing the biggest amps you can find, and visiting hell could very well be the fastest way to lose big money in the game. Well... accidentally listing your privateer deed instead of a CLD works too.

Hofs for me are very rare... globals are rare too. While I love to get them, I try to profit without them as much as possible. I also do not generally carpet-bomb areas mindlessly, and I don't go exclusively for high MU ores. Gear, skills, game knowledge are all crucial to success in mining. Neither do I cheat while mining (how do one "cheat" while mining anyway??). Yet I still profit. I don't try to make a living at it, but I don't have to keep depositing to keep the ball rolling (not with mining... hunting is a different story). Not everyone can profit (obviously)... but it's also obvious that some do.

I guess this has drifted somewhat off-topic.

 

CB, despite what you say it still seems possible that if you did exactly what the "favoured" avatars did, you might get the "favours" too. Maybe you think you're doing exactly the same thing but there's some difference, some secret, that they know? I don't know. I'm not saying you're wrong, but I'm just saying there's still other possible explanations than that the whole thing is rigged.

 

I'd have to agree the economy is poor on Ark and to me it seems worse than it was a few months ago, but hopefully it will improve... I'm sure they are always trying things to improve it....

 

hahaha.... that's a bit funny, because the thing i don't like with Arkadia is the mob desity, it too large on Arkadia. I wonder if we are on the same planet? On Arkadia the hordes are so big and difficult to get around, i hate it. They should really turn down the size of the spawns.

 

I wonder too... I'm not saying there's room for more spawns , just plenty of empty space for miners who don't like to mine among mobs. Check out oceanic, that shows most mob spawns. They're all rectangular, by the way.

 

Crafters that has a demand for ressources should place orders on auction at more than 105%

i rather tt stuff than trying to get 105% that cheaper in the long run.

I have had no problems getting my stuff sold on arkadia, perhaps you don't know the market good enough?
You can alwyas save up your ores and enmatters and then make a trip to caly to sell it.

Tips:
Smaller bulks works very well, 60-120 ped.
Be patient, it might take a couple of days for it to sell.
Know the demands of the market.
