Much of the armor's we have are the same in looks, only colored differently, and/or decorated some. While it makes sense to have "similar" looking armor say in a series from one manufacturer I still like very much to see more variation in armor design. As it is now, Shadow is Vigi with different colors and so on. With the heavy investments some make, we deserve more variation in armor design! The same for clothes, perhaps especially pants. More different shapes - not only different textures and colors! Designers note! Get a subscription on the Heavy Metal magazine!! And buy some backlog while you are at it! Tons of inspiration for clothes, armor, weapons, environments, everything sci/fi - futuristic. cheers, eras
LOVE heavy Metal magazine!!! And yes there is some AWESOME art in there that could be borrowed from if one is having a brain freeze for ideas. Personally I like the art with less cloths cause in some cases less CAN be more 8=}}
One thing that would be a great addition is armbands and/or patch. For example I like being a medic. It would be cool if there was a medic armband. You know, the white with a red cross on it and it could go over armour. Maybe there could be a patch like in the military for job or unit or society. There would definitely have to be some rules though so that you dont get a medic armband thats similar to a expert laser band. Something unique. Like maybe think of it like guild armbands. Only medics have this base color white. Crafters get another base color, hunters get green, and miners get black, or whatever so that there is instant recognition of that avatars main job. Of course as the avatars have multiple jobs they could wear a different armband depending on what they want to identify with. Maybe they have to reach a certain level before they can wear it-
That would be really cool. So for whatever clothing you are wearing, you can show people what you usually do. Also having full uniforms (something along the lines of military dress uniforms) would be nice.
