Will we be able to check tracker for a leader board in each category? Or will it be a mystery till end of competition?

I appreciate this event, thanks and all. But this isn't an event for me, again.

Hate it to have to point to the ugly side again, not in vain my name, "Xandra" is quite close resembling the classic "Kassandra" it seems - subtract a "[cute behind]", and make the "K" an "X", and you have me ...

Well, the most lucky avatars whacking these mobs will get an additional candy. The ones already lucky will get an additional bonus. The ones not this lucky will have drawn a bad card.

Wouldn't it be possible to add kind of a "voucher" to the loot table of these mobs temporarily? For the win? This way anybody hunting them would have a chance to get the price. Not only those that are able to hunt them 24/7.

Most globals in six weeks? This, from the beginning, excludes anybody living a normal life, having family and RL duties. The winners will be societies sharing an account (exploiters?), or individuals forfeiting any RL for this competition.

I doubt it's good as it is. But, as usual, just my 2 PEC.

Dont worry - (if you read my post as a negative one - it isnt) - but i dont have a ped card to support a 6 weeks event like this. Ill just continue hunting my Korwils as i use to do. And im sure ill be far away from the top globals in this catagori.

Entropia Tracker and Arkadia has always had a very good relationship. The way this kind of event usually works is that Cyrus mails me with a request to get "some data" - be it raw values, or a compiled chart. Then I provide this data to him.

The "Hide my avatar" option is only covering your data as to show it on the site, and in the various files you can download on Entropia Tracker.
Your avatar will not be excluded from datasets requested by Arkadia.

On a side note, it would of course be best if your avatar was not hidden on ET since, when a user visits a hidden avatar - this user thinks "meh.. what can i use this for"... This user is not likely to interact fully with ET - including running the ET client - which can come back and bite you in the....

Secondly, I STRONGLY urge you to run the Entropia Tracker client - ESPECIALLY when participating in an event such as this.

Nice event and interesting prices.
I thought I may gave it a try as I first heard from this event.
What I don´t like though is the most globals win rule. I know that I as a working individual don´t have any chance in competing with those many 24/7 players when it comes to the number of globals. So taking part in this event is useless for me.
Why not just putting this items into regular loots or globals or HoFs?
This shouldn´t be considered whining. I just state my opinion.

 

I have added the the 404, the 505 and the fap from group 5 to entropedia - if you like to see there stats. I can say this much - the guns looks interesteing - now we are just waiting to see more about the eco.

 

Love the idea, pity that my ped card doesn't allow me to actively participate.

P.S. Links to the mobs don't seem to work, for the moment at least

 

hmm I will certainly participiate in this but since 24/7 hunters will win I will most likely choose a category I would hunt normaly anyway. Then I´ll see how many globals the others get in it and plan from there to check if it´s worth it...
Oh and ofc I will participiate to show the Ortans I am still arround. ^^

 

I am glad to see Arkadia's first major event...

However I am VERY disappointed to see that it goes by the standard MA rules with segregated classes and no limitations to the ones with unlimited resources to play EU. Thus It is very sad to say that we shall see the same rich players zerg Arkadia get their rewards and leave again as always happens.

Maybe sometime in the future you can use the event rules to set an eligibility list to these great things by the amount of time people spend on Arkadia. That way Arkadians compete in Arkadian events and not the unloyal uber rich that simply migrate place to place to be handed their rewards for having more money and knowing how to exploit events.

I love you guys here at Arkadia and I love Arkadia..Please in the future suport Arkadia and not the ones who simply have more money. Our lowly efforts will be what sustain you not the instant gratification crowd.

 

Hmm this could go two ways, the first one will be that a lot of ubers will come from calypso trying to win some of the great prices, this will be a huge boost for the economy (and i can craft again), the other way is that people are scared of the ubers and only few people will participate, meaning i have a shot of winning something. It's a win-win for me either way

And again an event just for hunters. Yeah, the prices are really cool, but...
Why does the luckiest hunter with the most loot get an extra??? That doesn't really makes sense to me.


Err... And what about us miners? We could use good (UL) stuff too. But AGAIN just weapons and armor? *SIGH* Okay, FAPs too. But what is the sense of this events? It isn't the personal effort. You just need time and money. Like Cyborg Bill said.


I'm a miner. I don't like hunting. And seeing this unfair events just for hunters again and again...
It is unfair, because there is no real competition. It is your weapon and the amount of money and time you spend, what counts - not your personal effort. So, no real competition...

Edit: Cyrus? "Treasure Hunting" is something totally different in my eyes...

 

Hmm I think the really high MUs on ores are motivation enough to go mining for me. However for hunting such a motivation doesn´t exist unless you loot items on ark. So far that has been about impossible on ark so I think its quite fair really. However maybe I am just looking for a motivation to go back to hunting myself. ^^

 

or no ubers compete on the first 2 weeks,you grind away losing your ass off..then stryker etc..comes over and they still take the items
