Epic Sef Legend is also having problems so I will post their entry screenshot for them. Entry has been accepted.
That may be but it was still too late for me. Having been up since 5am it's pretty impossible for an "oldie" like me to stay awake past 10pm. I was snug asleep in the sofa even though I wanted to watch Alien Resurrection (for the millionth time) on the telly at that time. Next time... maybe.
BACK HOME And since, from what I understood that event will have and next parts, I thought it would be a good moment to give my feedback both for the organizer and to future participants to know what to expect. All in one, I have to say I'm really excited I participated to this player made event; it offered me some of my best moments in my (short so far) entropian life; and I really think it's an amazing idea - helping us discover new planets, understand their specific cultures, meet new people, so next time when we'll visit that planet we won't found ourselves in a total unknown place. One thing every participant has to understand though is that this is an opportunity; is still up to us to properly take advantage of it or not - if you expect someone to hold your hand and guide all your steps, you will be disappointed. Dralind (the organizer) did his best to assist us with everything, he ever organized a helping committee on there (who helped with travelling to planet surface, with boss killing, etc) but even so and with just four of us on this first trip, it proved to be hard to impossible (pretty much due to different play times of everyone involved) to be there all the time. So if you want to participate, be ready to mingle with the locals, organize your own things, etc - also, worth if possible, do your homeworks about what you can find on the destination planet and prepare a to do list of things you wanna do, see, etc. Remember that is a weekend long event - the organizer(s) will help as much as they can, but you have to help yourself if you want it to be a truly epic experience. I don't know how it will be with next episode(s), but at least in this one Dralind was really generous with us - not only he paid for our trip to RT and back home, but he also gave each of us ~25-30 PED worth of gear (a piece of armour, a tt rifle and 20 PED worth of ammo). Being the cheap b**** that I am, I managed to even return home with almost 20 PED in my pockets, while still having my share of fun on RT. Now a few things about Rocktropia, our destination: - sweating is sooo much easier than back home; there are these hater mobs with 300 hp (so 300 sweat), which hit with like 1-1.5 damage, and which are spawned really close to a turret - you can realistically do a "sweat circle" with only 2 or 3 people and not worry about dying or anything like that; - there are these vixen robots which have great loot for newbies; if selling on MU is almost impossible to not break even at least (and no, I don't talk only from my personal experience, but also from what I've read); - "The Thing" story/instance is LEGEN wait for it DARY; best quest mission I encountered far now (counting here Ark and Caly); - both planet and population is smaller than Arkadia, but nice comunity; maybe a bit too young (as in immature), but nice anyway - found a lot of people that when heard what we are there for, offered to help me with guidance, showing me places, helping with any quest I might need or anything; also met a few people selling souvenir items at TT value (I checked, they had MU of more than 1 PED extra each) - lots of bugs; except The Thing quest line, the rest of the quests seem to be broken at places - kong boss (level 454 boss) happens quite often - think there were like 8 of them during the weekend; people seem to love it; personally I didn't liked it - looked like a chaotic wipefest with low loot, still nice to see community working as a whole - no real immersion; planet has too many different themes/subjects to allow you to feel any immersion - is not like our planet which actually has its own story and stuff - laud, colored, obnoxious planet - very colored, very rock'n'roll, very weird type of clothes - for someone like me who is not into clubs and Bronx atmosphere, not cool Finally, some suggestions for our organizer for the next episode(s): 1. Please tell everyone to download the space and the planet (we wasted like two hours because some people didn't thought they'll need those). 2. Please set an hour that is convenient for both EU and US - for me the main events took place over midnight my time. 3. Please allow more people to join; I mean people that not qualify (like higher skills). Obviously, don't ask to give them free items, but the ship can have up to 50 passengers, so can't really see how allowing someone else with higher skills (who gets only free ride) to tag along could hurt - and the more the better. 4. Try to have a little schedule for each day - for example it would have been nice if we would have had a common hour to log on and do The Thing together. Anyway, it was a great event and I'm really happy I was part of it. It was a unique experience, I managed to discover a whole new place (and in the process understand that there's no place like home, which is Arkadia ), met new people, even made myself a friend or two. Had tons of fun and came home and with some PEDs in my pocket. Thank you for this opportunity!
I was really only the warp chauffeur for this event. I stuck around to help a bit with some shooting, and I think everyone had a good time. Thank you Dralind for taking the time to organize this event. Events can be a nightmare if one little thing goes wrong, and you handled the downloading of the planet issue with style and grace. I'll be happy to help, if needed in your next event.
Yeah, didn't mentioned that because it didn't really felt in the feedback part, but Raven's ship is amazing! She was so nice to give me a full tour of the ship and I totally, totally, totally loved it.
