Another question, Say im crafting ark-20 arctic, and global first on it. will i qualify for the herman ark-20? or does it have to be the herman ark-20 (no arctic or jungle or desert)

 

Your global does not decide which new bp youwin. Its the number in the que your global is that decides which bp you win.
If you get the fifth global over 175 ped, then you getthe fifth bp in the list cyrus provided in the op.

The item you craft - as long as its an ark item, does not matter.

Sounds like a good event for the economy to me. I will also try a few clicks when I arrive on Arkadia when the Patch is officially announced. Well Dave announced it allready but I mean the server downtime announcement in the news.

 

no event for miners? i strongly doubt if there are enough minerals supply for crafters' who needed for this event, the three profession are link to other two professions, without one of them the event cannot be held smooth and successful.
There are hunters in arkadia can buy what crafter crafted but no miners to supply the minerals which crafters needed, so the weapon and armor supply to hunter are still very limited. so i wish i can see a official event for miners soon

 

A crafting event should be good incentive for miners Now all miners have crafters buying those ores/enmats.

 

Also I'm assuming we don't have be standing on Arkadia to get the 175 ped global/hof right? Just need to be crafting arkadia prints?

 

It's a good question, the rules don't say nothing against it but if you get a Global from an Arkadian Blueprint in Next Island the tracker might not pick it

 

I'd say you should at least be on Arkadia/Calypso.. Preferably Arkadia (in my opinion) since it is an Arkadia event... But that's just my view. And, especially with HoFs, it's nearly impossible to tell where it actually occurred.

 

guess I'll give it a go an try for some of the component bps I have 6 or 7 copies of, but hey someone has to start it, right?

You can be anywhere in the universe when you craft the "Arkadia item".
Please remember the event use Entropia Tracker, thus it would be "best" if you are on Arkadia or Calypso as those places have the best coverage of ET clients. However, I strongly urge you to run the ET client while participating in this event as the ET client can take screenshots of your globals. This way, if ET forgets a global, you have a screenshot with all the information I need to manually insert the global for you.

Hey Bjorn,

1. You can do the crafting on any other planets, however, you have to meet me at Celeste Quarry on Arkadia to get your prize. Also bearing in mind that most BPs uses Arkadia ores and enmatters so its preferable if you craft on Arkadia.

2. Only globals from Arkadian BPs (Does not include shared BPs).

I will be at Celeste Quarry for the next 8 hours. Participants can collect your prizes once it appears on the ET leaderboard.

 

If you don't craft on Arkadia, you money goes into the other planet's budget, so what's in it for Arkadia?

Or if you craft an Arkadian BP, you always pay some percentage to a planet the BP originates from?

 

The simple answer is that ET can not see where a HoF has occured. So there is no way of knowing if a HoF, crafting an arkadia item, actually happend on Arkadia.
Again, keep in mind that if you craft arkadia items, they use arkadia minerals - so the minerals would have to be moved through "lootable pvp space" which is likely to increase their price if you craft on Calypso. That said, you can craft the items on Calypso if you so want to. As long as you travel to Arkadia to pick up your BP if you win one.
