    Not sure but I don't think anything nice dropped this time. And for some not-so-smart reason, this time it spawned way too many boss mobs at the same time making the shooting area so thick with those massive dead mobs that it was nearly impossible to see the mobs you were supposed to be shooting at. Also, since the mobs move around a lot and gets behind other mobs etc, it was almost impossible for you to "stay" on any one particular mob. Not a good move, imho. I didn't enjoy this event nearly as much as the ones before.

    And then the loot (not blaming the A-team at all here): Even though we were quite a few players, if perhaps not as many as the event before this, still it was so that the lvl 227-bosses we were killing loads and loads of, was only looting like half of what was looting from the lvl 78 MM spiders and kerbs. Very, very strange. I haven't been online today, maybe there was an ath later on in the event? :)

    Looking at Weekly Highest Loot for Oratan Lancer the biggest HoF were around 9.9K. It's pretty "low" for a boss lvl227 mob. Sure, they may global often, but they really should hof more, and bigger...

    The flying Lancers were a great annoyance and also triggered some motion sickness for me. The fantastic healers spoke that the flying issue hopefully will be fixed til next patch, looking forward to that!


    These events are fun for a few hours but personally I can only cope with 3-4 hours of it, then I long for a more calm, less hectic/lagging hunt :eek:

    I wasn't online for the 9kers and I still walked away with a little more ped on card even after buying a fresh gun out of auction and a looted manta still in inventory for my wife to skill with.

    Only frustrations for me were the constant crashing and the unreachable flying status.

    I loved the officials and their healing, made for a great and fun atmosphere.
    I think they did a good job of spawning as well, when there were lots of shooters there were 2-4 boss mobs, and when the group got smaller there were 1-2.

    all in all, a great event, and two thumbs up to the ark devs.

    Yup, and I wasn't complaining about the overall loot but more the fact that with lvl 78 spiders looting *lots* of 1k+ hofs, our lvl 227 bosses should loot way better than they actually did. Methinks MA have the loot in Calys MM instance server turned up to max...;)

    Mm, it was the same for me, dunno have many times I crashed during these two days but there were many. Annoying.

    You really liked that you couldn't see what to shoot at? To me, that is almost as irritating as the flying mobs. Big as multistorey apartment-mobs blocking your view, nothanks. Please get rid of that ASAP MA and fire the idiot that came up with the idea...

    Sorry maybe I spelled it out wrong...

    I really liked the number of mobs spawned at any given time.

    I however do NOT like the corpses laying around, but thats an MA issue not an ark issue from what I understand.

    i wish for alot lesser of smal mobs around the camps. (oratas) and only one boss mob at time but a constant flow of them. i still quess the most ppl are ther for the boss mobs.

    Those who don't like the level of carnage, mayhem, and lag should try steadfast instead, it's more along your lines as there aren't as many players there and the bosses get spawned less quickly.

    Yes they do. Of course you have to have enough HP to survive one hit otherwise the healing isn't much benefit. The mob maturities are also inline with the number of players... if it's a small crowd you get smaller bosses, a bigger crowd, the maturities go up. In the smaller group, you will also have more group cooperation and less general chaos.

    It's not really about not liking the carnage and mayhem (that word is starting to get worn out in EU, I think...:)) but more that nobody but MA benefits from there spawning so many bossmobs at once that players soon are wading through them not seeing anything. Miners and other human-sized oratans, sure np, but when the mobs are the size of the Titan f/e, it's just wrong to spawn so many of them that there is more or less constantly 2-3 "corpses" blocking your sight.

    The spawnrate was good in the last event so hopefully they will return to that. Note that this wouldn't be a discussion at all, if only MA would revert their extraordinarily stupid change with dead mobs lying around for 30 secs...

    These events are fun Ateam did a great job on them. Problem is between Mindarks shitty servers and them not getting off their asses to resolve anything now for weeks it got too frustrating to bother with after a short time. Not to mention that a good portion of the people that were at steadfast when I was there had to be the most ignorant bunch of gamers to set foot on Arkadia. It was a disgrace to the community when these people refused to follow directions to move away from the gates.

    This is the what 3rd or 4th set of these invasions and the word is surely out that staying by the gate causes the mobs to fly off when trying to get to people hangin out under the gateway like a bunch of sissies. It was pretty sad when many people who were cycling tons of ped were asking the others to move away from the gates and the same people wouldn't listen. After an hour of all that the ATeam person that was there healing everyone started asking them to move with no results.

    Personally I probably wont be going to anymore of these because of these people. If Ateam wants to address this with some kind of rules for these AND some kind of penalty for the people who refuse to move that break the EULA by doing things that effect others game play I will probably continue supporting the planet. As it is now its a major fail.

    The disconnects were especially maddening because I wasn't getting any loot for the money I spent shooting a mob and getting disconnected. I thought they would just add it when you came back in but no messages upon return and after keeping an eye on stacks and seeing no change on the mobs where I got booted when I came back I decided enough was enough.

    There is some MAJOR work that needs to be done before the next ones go on I think.

    Why does the spawning has to be so close firebases?
    Why don't let them spawn a few houndred metars away from gate?
