First, you go up and enter the atmo and then you go into space around Arkadia I have to admit, space looks very cool Two main objects you can see around you in space is Arkadia it looks better in reality because all those bright yellow globs and acid clouds are the layers above the planet, and they all rotate around it. Arkadia also turns around as it should... still not as good as it could be, looks like clay. And this acid root on steroids is our space station it has some sort of engine on the other side of it, if you care to fly around as you approach the entrance, you get to the space station my PC crashes every time I do that, so I actually die at the arrival but if you are lucky you will arrive at the main hangar on the other side it has two levels with more space for ships second floor this is the only place where you can spawn your VTOL there is also strange control room on the side, currently empty from the hangar you can take different exits to the main aisle leading to the civilian part of the station its design is the exact copy of Genesis building with a few tweaks there is a pool with fish on the second floor and the teleporter on the first floor small steaming machines around the TP are two Repair terminals, Soc, TT and Revival. There are also some Revivals and Repairs mounted into the walls. If you die in space you will most likely revive in this room. Things you can buy at the station TT If you are careful enough the whole flight between Arkadia and Space Station will be 100% safe outside PvP zone, so no need to worry about your stackables. However, your VTOL can be damaged in space and inside the station, if you hit a wall or collide with another VTOL, you will not lose your vehicle TT but you will lose SI, so you might consider a need to repair at the Station.
good luck with that. Nice to know we can get to the spacestation without touching lootable pvp! Now there only needs to be a way to get to the next planet without lootable pvp... then interplanetary trading would make sense again since the tp fees are lower now.
Images fixed. Am I missing some button or should adding images from your album as clickable thumbs be the pain in the arce it is now?
Great pics endy ) I wish ya flew back to caly with me it was pretty cool.. really quiet.. but cool... im headin back tonite so pm me if u need a ride from the station if ur still there homie.. Cheerz -ILLz
Thanks for all those pics Endy, very nice indeed. Now if they could just put Arkadia stuff in the tt on Arkadia Space Station lol. Baby steps
Well, they put Calypso TT stuff in there, so if you need an Opalo, there is no need to travel to Calypso. Chances are I'm going down tonight, so if you need anything from that TT, let me know, I'll bring it.
Great pics mate Depending on what browser you use the way of posting images is different due to the addition of the AJAX plugin. If you are using IE or FF you can use the plugin directly from your post, if using Chrome, the way is more convoluted at the moment but Van has figured out an easier method that i am yet to write a tutorial on. Hopefully i'll have it sorted this weekend. For now, these are the 2 guides to posting images: http://www.arkadiaforum.com/forumdisplay.php?84-Learning-Centre
I'm using FF, I don't have problems with uploading, I have problems with adding images that have been put in the album, from that album to my new post as a clickable thumbnails. I can't create a thumb in the post from the URLs I have for an image in the album, so I have to copy the image URL from there, delete id part, add &thumb=1 to the URL, use upload from URL pop up window option to make a thumb in the post from that URL, and then slap up a hyperlink on the thumb. On calypso forum you have a pop up where you can see your album pics as thumbs and you just click on it to add it to your post.
None that I know of. I think that's why when you click the button to collect your VTOL, it goes back to your inventory
You can use that TP for a 7ped fee to TP back to Arkadia. But yes, would be nicer to make that trip in a ship -- Hyssch --
Nope, no auc/storage-terminal on space-stations. But You do find 2 repair-terminals instead -- Hyssch --
