i agree with many of your general frustrations about the direction of this game but i dont really understand this, i "embraced" the L revolution in 2007 and never looked back, i buy L armour like bear/boar at around 105-110% markup, save 10-15% over using UL armour and have no problem finding new parts. i have used the p5a L for years, its cheap, easy to find, and does more dps at lower cost than a MKII, i also have two philosphers swords, its UL sib, its markup is around +90 it does more dps than a MKII with considerably better eco than the MKII at lvl60. markup on other lower mid level sib gear has dropped a lot too.

of course over 1-2 hunts you wont notice that much difference but you have been around for years, if you had spent 10-20% less to get the loot you did over all those years i think you would feel quite a bit better about loot than you do now.

 

It is not really that I care for my loot, as I still play for free, since the sale of the "Unique Dub & McCormick Terminator".

And as you could read above, its not about playing super-eco. I still believe in the old theories, that giving "some more" (decay) will get you "some back".

Also each drone hunt on calypso, was always close to break even or a profit. I camped Drones for more then 3 weeks. Then MA took out the Gazzurdite. (and the iron out of the messed up argonauts)

I left Calypso, as this was my last hope on beeing right.

It works best on crafting though, when you have 10k spare PEDs per night, crafting Oreamps 101.
You can easily SEE how your "return rate" wont dissapoint you in the long run.

Sure you could craft basic filters for 1 year using the 10k PED...and might even get a way higher return rate.

It depends on the individual player, which way he will choose.

I just wanted to say that a "MKII+Ghost on Riptors Hunt" shouldnt cost 10$ per hour. No matter on how un-eco that would be. Thats why I mentioned "I dont use Swine Deluxe + EMT Kit 2500 Deluxe".
Sometimes it seems Entropia became the most expensive MMO I have ever heard of.
(if you dont do what everyone else is doing...and even then you can fail)

Dont judge me just because I keep using the stuff, that everbody is forced to forget about. (And I feel it is still the right way)

 

TBH, 3hrs on 300 ped with that setup isn't bad. It'd take me some grinding to burn thru it, and I kinda have the same setup. (or have done some runs with sameish setup: ewe-41, ghost. Pretty sure Ima few lvls under Mc too..)

But anyway, as far as loot goes, I haven't notice it affecting Arkadia. Granted I don't, well CAN'T do the big mobs, not have don't any major long huntruns, but it's seems normal enough fwiw.

Couple other bugs made their way here, but a relog fixed 'em on my end.

This is minus the walls in my apt eating more of my stuff, ofc.
