Everyone knows how Magurg Males love to global and HoF. With this event, that just got better. For every 10 globals that you score on Aakas Island within a week, you win a bonus global! And for every 10 HOFs, you win a bonus HOF! Where: Aakas Island When: Ongoing How: Hunt on Aakas Island. For every 10 globals over 50 PEDs you score in a week long period (148 hours), you win PEDs equivalent to your smallest global amount. And for every 10 HoFs you score in a week long period (148 hours), you win PEDs equivalent to the smallest of those. Globals will be tracked using Entropia Life. What mobs will I find there? The main attraction are Magurg Males. The maturity mainly is Alpha (L15) to Prowler (L29). There are also a few stalkers (L41). These are high HP mobs for their level and therefore global quite readily. L15 Alpha - 1000 HP / 73 max damage L20 Old Alpha - 1700 HP / 90 max damage L29 Prowler - 2500 HP / 128 max damage L41 Stalker - 3820 HP / 190 max damage (low density) Damage type: Stab(35%) / Cut(34%) / Impact(31%) In addition, there is a low density spawn of low level Ubo (L6). What do Magurg Male reward? Glad that you asked. The main attraction for hunting them are their item drops - Shopkeeper Pads (~3K MU), ESI (~900% MU), BLP guns and healing tools. They are also known to drop MF chips and melee swords too, but none reported recently (last 2 months). If you do find any, post a screenshot and win discovery rewards here. Besides these items, their high MU loot includes Magurg Male Pincer (>900% MU), Generic Fuse (~300% MU), Output Amplifier Componets, Adaptive Fire Rate Components, Tier III Components. What about skill rewards? Courage. Best skill for HP. Boosts defense (Evade, Dodge) and offence (Hit profession for all weapons and MF). Repeatable Stage 6 missions. Highly recommended. What armor do I need? For Alpha (L15) and below, graduation armor (musca adj. or pixie adj.) is doable. For Old Alpha, Viceroy with 5B plates is sufficient. You can even do Prowlers with that but will need some healing. I can provide this ARC armor with Pulsar 8 plates for rent which is even better than Viceroy+5B. Stalkers need some high end armor, or kiting skills What weapons do I need? These mobs have almost no regen. If you half kill the mob, you can come back the next day and finish the job. So, other than the time, there is little penalty for dying or low DPS. While doable, I won't really recommend tickling stalkers with tt guns ... Note: Mining globals do not count! Teams need to register in this thread to qualify for the rewards.
There were some concerns that globals over a few low level mobs here would mess up the bonus global as the min loot requirement for those globals is 10 PEDs. So added an amendment to the event that only globals over 50 PEDs count. This makes sure that your bonus is always at least 50 PEDs.

Thankyou Gopaala I really wont be changing anything at all, not to the mobs, tax or this event. Very well thought out and worthy of keeping alive. Having spent so much time in past weeks hunting Magurgs, I have fallen in love with Aakas Island. its perfect for me, as i spend most of my time on Arkadia, Manufacturing for Janitors Closet shops.
