I just got a latest news from my friend in Japan, that a very powerful 8.9 Richter earthquake just happened in Sendai, Japan. A huge flood had been flushed away many vehicles and household stuffs during minutes Also, at least a 5m high tsunami's alert is already sent out to 52 countries all around the world. For those that living near coastal lines, PLEASE stay away from beach for your own safety! http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/top-st...japan-earthquake-and-tsunami-115875-22981779/
Not only the beaches, the water flows into land like a thunder storm. My thoughts go to everyone involved :/ (and I hope Singapore goes free ...)
That's a crazy powerful force of nature right there :/ My thoughts go out to those in Japan. I have a socmate living there, I hope he is ok.
Here is a Google link shared with me that shows aerial shots of before and after pics of certain areas of where this all happened ... there are 46 photos, and the site might pop up on the last photo, so just click back to the beginning. This is absolutely amazing, and such a shame ... last I heard, there were 10,000 or more unaccounted for.
wow it really gives a good perspective on how bad the situation is. Absolutely sucks. I can't imagine what everyone there is feeling right now.

I just read today that that quake moved the island 13 feet and sunk it nearly 24 inches. It also sped up the earths rotation making the days shorter and shifted the axis. heres the link.. http://news.yahoo.com/s/yblog_thelo...pans-earthquake-shifted-balance-of-the-planet
