Stuck A funny thing happened on the way to Celeste Harbour

People may recall this thread where I was stuck in my quad near Celeste Harbour for several days after landing from space. I was finally released from captivity afer intervention from Cyrus.

Today I noticed I was getting repeated requests from strangers to be added to my vehicle guest list while I was out hunting in the wilderness. No green dots in sight. No vehicles spawned. What was going on?

I thought back to my quad problems. Support released me from the quad by "recalling the vehicle" Perhaps they hadnt quite fixed everything? I decided to go take a look. Just to be safe I teleported to CH North and then ran towards the central tp. I didnt want to get trapped again...

So as I am running south from CH North to CH, there is an abupt change in viewpoint and there I am in my quad. Oh joy. Stuck again.

Once again I cant exit cos the game thinks I am not in a vehicle but I cant do anything else (except dance) cos the game thinks I am in vehicle.

I'm about to log another support call and contact Cyrus. Hopefully it wont take too long to sort out this time.

Your quad was at Celeste Harbour all day yesterday but didn't see you. Wondered why it didn't go to storage I guess I know now. Hope it gets fixed soon.

can you fly the quad at all Kikki , if so fly up into space and get shot down by pirates they got to be good for something lol

 

I removed the oil last time and that is now in storage. So I am stuck on the ground in a fuelless quad...

 

I'm in the same situation on the other side of the universe....

I left NI, couldnt get into the station, so i relogged.... now i am floating outside.... dead... and cannot T / respawn

i submitted a ticket, and got a quick response.... but nothing since,

Its also only been 6 hours... hoping it gets cleared up, i wanna get back to Ark to run some BP's

If you are on a GL of a privateer or MS, try to call it near to your position. That can help you out. Not tested myself, but heard from others it will help in some cases if you were on GL *before* you got stucked.

 

I've heard of that working sometimes with quads, too..

 

Yepp, sometimes that helps. The situation near NI seems different. The revivals on NI Station are broken, so if a ship with revival is near you and you are on GL, you have a good chance to revive on that ship.

 

As long as it was the last ship you were on it should work. Otherwise you go to the station (under normal circumstances).

 

hope they fix this before they ad another planet.

 

Maybe the server outages for the new release will sort things out for me. I'm hoping so cos I have had no contact from support. (Cyrus has been back in contact though).

 

Just recieved a note from Support that they have relocated my avatar so I should be able to log in tonight once I get home from work.\0/

But I am wondering if my pseudo-quad is still hanging around at CH. If so then it looks like I am banished from CH for the forseeable future. Anyone have a couple of minutes to drop by CH and have a look to see if it is still there? It would be within sight of the TP if it is there.

If it is still there, the update and subsequent server reboot might just fix it.
