The clothes won't even show if you equip them. Some things are not bugged though, the IFN uniform, and some NI clothes.

I'll add that the first click will find it (if anything is there) and the next one will automatically pick it up so no need to stop and do that...
clicking "next target" as you walk along will find anything that appears. You don't need to see it first :) This won't work if you have a pet...
