Note: Unlike the other parts of Gold Rush 2012, Gold Rush Treasure Hunter 2012 is not a competition with prizes. It is purely an announcement that the instances exist, and an encouragement to explore them. The Archaeological Society has concluded that the passageways, rooms and treasure that Chambers discovered are a small part of the city the ancient Arkadians called “Aakas”. A document uncovered at the time reveals that the desert area was known as “Dehera”, and probably extended further than the ruins at Hawk Digsite, Falcon Digsite, Kestrel Digsite and Harrier Digsite. The IFN Science Division was quick to make sense of the Arkadian Key technology and produce Blueprints for colonist use. Manufacturers have since been busily preparing their ten different levels of Arkadian Key for the moment when the IFN allows colonists access to Aakas. A new Teleporter, called “Aakas”, has now been installed on the surface among the ruins, and the exciting news is that colonists are now free to enter through the mouth of the Riptor! A variety of terminals are down there too, so kit up, grab some keys, grab your society mates and get down there for some armed treasure hunting!

So this Gold Rush is just a 'find new treasure' and no extra prices? I hope that the gold coin bp and other new bp will stimulate treasure hunters and mob hunters loot

Hey Yquem, you are correct. I have edited the OP with a note among the headlines to explain that this thread is an announcement, not a competition. To clarify for everyone, when Planet Arkadia Update 2012.5 happens (scheduled for this coming Tuesday), "Gold Rush 2012" will begin, as detailed in the main announcement here. "Gold Rush Treasure Hunter 2012" is one part of that - an activity to take part in, with treasures to be hunted. "Gold Rush Treasure Hunter 2012" is not a competition. There are eight other activities mentioned in the main announcement. These remaining eight ARE all competitions. All nine activities together form the Gold Rush 2012.
