Crafting Can we loot UNL SIB guns crafting?

I was wondering as already seem some unL ones droppping by hunting but none crafting if there was unL sib guns like smugglers version to loot while crafting, or if there is another special version to be looted while crafting

You mean blueprints of UL guns, right (since items don't loot from crafting unless it's what you're crafting)?

 

In short yes. I know for example any of the Unlimited Masher Clubs you see on auction were from a looted BP. Just rare.

In other words, the answer to my previous post is "yes" -- so to continue on: So far, no. The smuggler guns only drop off mobs so far. To have a L BP that crafts them eventually might be cool...

 

rick u didnt and cant answer that question actually, none of us can, unless you can post a link to a thread with either cyrus or dave stating that L bp's to craft smuggler gear is loaded into the crafting loot pool, you simply cannot say yes as it would be inaccurate and misleading. I also would like an answer to this question.

I would be absolutely shocked to see smuggler bps dropping. Just doesn't seem consistant with the devs attitude to UNL gear on Arkadia

i see, we still need a difinative answer on this, as we know RT and Caly both can drop UL armor, weapons and other items bps that will create UL versions from L bps

 

Where most weapons say source: crafted/looted but the smuggler versions only say looted, I would guess that at this time it's not possible. Not to say it couldn't be possible in the future, but I don't see it happening personally...

Appears to be a very strong committment to L gear thats is mostly very good, with UNL gear the very rare exception. This based on experience in the game and my recollection of stuff written prior to launch.

But its not like I have daily conversations with them

 

If you listen to the interview with David Dobson, you can tell he's almost against UL items... So the fact that we see any at all is almost miraculous. He's very much Pro-Limited.

Another thing... the prizes for this very long (and costly) hunting competition were 1 ped TT UL guns. That just doesn't seem an appropriate prize if UL guns will become craftable in the next few months.

 

I can see one good thing... it frees me to try out other models when my current gun breaks. If they were UL, I'm sure I'd stick with one model for a lot longer. Right now, it's a little bit of a pain because the model I'm looking for might not be in auction at the moment. But that will change in time, as our new players skill up to higher models and the demand increases.

 

I would think this is a possibility, extremely rare, but a real possibility. I remember a guy looting an UL one click bp for a AL21 Canis a while back. I'm pretty sure the click was successful.

 

No unL guns means No unL clicking for me, halting my clicking operation them

 

Boardian, why do you only want to craft UL guns? I'm not a crafter, but I'd have thought crafters would rather craft L guns, since it means people buy more guns... over and over.

 

The way UL SIB gun BP-s have dropped so far in the universe, is that out of the crafting machines comes a limited blueprint with some clicks that then makes the weapon. this gives a large markup payback option (and incentive) to rafters much like ul weapon drops creates for hunters. As it is not an unlimited BP, it does not mean the crafters can just churn out as many smuggler guns as they want.

But if this does not exist, weapons crafters are at even more disadvantage compared to hunters.

I don't really undertsand how Arkadia plans to have weapons crafters teh way things are already, but this might be just my newbness issue.
