Will there be an Arkadia update between now and Sept 26?

ok left arkadia till I see some updates with textures, muscle oil and more missions...I feel this is MA's slow response to Arkadia team's requests...sigh

 

Can't blame MA for that. It's all Arkadia's responsibility.

 

You kinda CAN blame MA.. they screwed A-Team with the lootable pvp.. Had they not been forced to the revamp of the blueprints, there would be missions now..

 

And blueprints and textures and estates and....

As already stated. MA messed the A-team blueprints up with lootable space and planetery ore restrictions forcing them to redo every single BP.

The A-team has already reliesed their textures aswell but MA is having problems implementing it.
The estates would have been out already if they did not have to redo all the blueprints.

 

texture BPs were not released because they were having problems applying the textures. In the interview, Dave said they've been fixed and could be released any time. If they hadn't had to go back and re-organize the economy, those would have had more focus and may have been out by now as well.

 

they are still not working from what i understand.. something with new problems after fixing the first.. But should hopefully not be too much longer.. sadly no timeframe..

How many more days/weeks/months? The words:"Soon" "quickly" "making progress" "shortly" have lost meaning when dealing with MA in the past....

 

What concerns me more than textures, is treasure hunting.

How come 3,5 months after opening, the planet which was supposed to be all about treasure hunting, doesn't have it and there is no definite ETA on it?

It can not be a technical issue since it's the main planet's theme, it should've been developed in every detail and approved with MA long before the launch.

 

Treasure Hunting is both Planet and platform. Because of its similarity to mining, MA had to do a system refit. So even if everything works from the PP's end, that doesn't necessarily mean that the platform is working. Even if MA had it planned out in every detail they've still got debugging to do.

My answer: Be patient. It'll be out when it's out. Dave doesn't have ETA on it because it's up to MA. Textures don't have an ETA because there's no way to know how long it'll take to get all the bugs worked out.

We all know we like things released with no bugs. So does Arkadia Studios. So sit down, shut up, and be patient. Don't rush it.

Take your time, Dave. We don't want it released before it's ready, either.
