    Hey Everyone,

    As you will have noticed, we have been working on changing the forum and applying new upgrades and features and with this, the forum has gone down for short periods.

    With that said, here are the new features to come.
    • The forum credits will be able to be spent on certain features and extra services.
      • Online store for forum special features and extra add on's.
      • Advertising space on the forum
      • Special abilities to enhance your profile and interaction with the forum
      • Premium forum status.
    • Advertising has been implemented for members to use to advertise their services and items.
    • Modifications to the template have been made for implementation of future developments.
    • A new cache has been installed for faster response at loading the forum.
    • New artwork to be implemented.

    Please note the following
    We have noticed that many members of the forum have taken full advantage of the signature and in all terms have not managed to keep it neat so we are limiting the signature to the following.
    • 1 Signature image of 440px x 100px dimension.
    • 256 Characters
    • 3 Lines of text
    • 2 Smileys
    • Maximum text size - 4
    • 2 Links that only point to another thread on Arkadia Forum or your personal website.

    We will give everyone a total of 7 days to rectify their signatures before the automated system will be activated and all items in excess will be deleted.

    We will release more information about the store and advertising options available during the course of this week to explain in detail how you can participate in it.

    Does this rule out the chance of IRL and in game credit uses?

    Please can some one just confirm that the Template is 440 Pixels x 100 Pixels

    Might assist some of us in just been able to resize existing signatures to boundrys ;)

    Just a thought. Some forums add a file size limit to uploaded pictures in addition to pixel size. It might be a good idea to make a statement about that now and not later in case the rules change again. :)

    Nice, I'm curious to see what the forum shop will have on offer. [​IMG]

    Will there be a sort of album function coming in those future developments? (For the ever increasing number of uploaded images.)
    Also, I somehow seem to have lost the 'top of page' & 'bottom of page' arrows. They were very handy. [​IMG]

    Ah, and talking about forum changes: if the 'optimistic' rainbow is going to be changed/removed, what about a 'Thanks' rating?
    Because sometimes you just want to say "Thank you", and "Like" is not always what you mean. [​IMG]

    Can we have " Members Online Now " to display as title say and not who was here 10 minutes ago?
    Can we have on left under member picture and member name also in game avatar name and maybe society too ?

    I find the signature requirements a bit harsh - I mean the number of characters - I never considered my signature intrusive (3 lines including the empty one, smallest font, just one link) but well, checked it and it had like 300 characters...

    Dammit, my raptr tag is too wide at 500x70 and I've no control over it.

    and the I prefer the first one as it's less cluttered. Any chance of relaxing that width restriction slightly?

    I believe the green corner on avatar pictures is the indication of who is online.

    Yay, I'm within boundaries by far! :D

    But now I'm tempted to brush up on my PS skills (edit* made myself a signature! I feel really proud. :D)
