Will there be a pre launch outage?

    I'm just wondering if I should be expecting a general EU outage tonight before the the launch - with client download immediately afterwards. I haven't seen anything advertised and would like to know if I can plan to hunt tonight (on another planet) or should find something else to do for a couple of hours.

    EU will no doubt go down for a while tomorrow 24th (late arvo early evening based on your location). So won't be down tonight.

    Yeah the timer just counts down to the start of the day of launch, not to the moment we actually launch. Sorry for any confusion.

    Yep the timer is based on the forum server time which is GMT/UTC. Technically it'll clock over 2 hours before it's actually Tuesday in Sweden :)

    It's one of those times that being on GMT (well plus 1 for summer) is helpful, I can start checking for the MA messages and get the download going hopefully asap when servers are back up, VUs are usually ready around lunchtime for me if there are no delays :)
