Hi I have been on Arkadia for about 2 weeks now playing the game for over a month. Calypso was nice but Arkadia is better. I am trying to figure out what to shoot next or what weapon to hunt with next. I have been hunting Zadul's and Tiarak's since I arrived on planet. I can take most of them down in 5-7 shots. I currently use a MarCorp Kallous 3 for Laser everything is maxed for me for hit, range etc. For BLP I use CalyTrek CR Soul MK II the part that is not Maxed is the Damage Interval. I would like to hunt some of the Other creatures such as Bokol (which I can) but its a massive ammo drain with the current weapons just to kill one but not sure if I should just stick with Zadul's and Tiarak's till my skills are around lvl 20ish in laser/blp then find a better weapon and go for other's. So the question is, Is there something else I can hunt (sorry killing the same creature over and over and over (grinding) can get rather old rather fast especially if you kill over 100 of them in a single run and you don't global) or is there a better weapon I can get now to hunt Bokol and not be that massive ammo drain. Any suggestion is appreciated.

Hadraada are slightly tougher than the tiarak so might be worth checking out. They do stab/impact and are found in the desert region.

Its a video game in regards to hunting.. Grinding is what gamers do mate.. EVERY game is like that. as far as what to do next there are a number of tools you can use to match armor, weapons and skills to mobs so you are more efficient just search the forum in the hunting section for them. As far as the globaling.. well loss generates the globals. if yer not globaling you are not losing enough to build one up.. be happy you can do that. On the other hand no bells no lottery chances for something nice. Look for mobs you can hunt but are a challenge and not below your skills and gear. Most of all remember.. this game is open ended.. you are but a baby here my advise is look at it as level 100 is max and see yourself within them parameters to judge where you fit in the grand scheme of things.. don't plan on being the best for a few years at least. focus on steady growth and learn ped management and you'll do OK.

I don't agree with this at all. It implies that there is a personal loot pool for a player and MA have said definitively that is not the case. There are many loot theories but the two most credible are that loot has a high correlation to TT expended or to damage done to the mob. Basically bigger mobs will give bigger loot but that doesn't mean you can hunt them efficiently to minimise losses.

Trust me I get grinding, I have been playing MMO's for quite a while. Was just mentioning the fact that I have never liked it. Doesn't mean I won't do it, just means I don't like it. As far as loot and getting global's it is what it is, I just thought it was odd that I killed 100 Zadul's and didn't get one. My main question was with weaponry I was asking the general Populace, that would be all who read this what their suggestion was for my next weapon and what they would advise on hunting. Thank you for your reply though.

Thanks, I agree with you because if a global was based on loss. I have lost a lot because trial and error. I have read a lot of the loot theories out there also and have come to the conclusion it is what it is. You are either going to get one or not. Thanks for the reply though I will try Haraada's next

please stick to the original question asked, and dont make it into a thread about loot theories and globle rate, if you want to do that there is a whole section on forum for that.

    Read again:

To OP, you could also try big Halix or Feran, similar hp as Hadraada but might hit a bit hard for you but give them a try

I you're bored with the grinding add in a instance once in a while. Get some mates and have fun, or do it solo.

Thanks everyone for your suggestion. Looks like it will be a mix of Haraada, halix, and zadul for a while. Happy hunting. Till the journeys end

I do like this idea (not only because I make keys) but because you can grind through a lot of hp quickly without it feeling like you're grinding, unless you do instances over and over, then it's grinding on a whole new level since you can only take a break every couple hours.
