Dev team There appears to be a number of players holding ingredients for Arkadian DNA, but all of us are missing the brains? Now private LAs are starting to be bought, but the owners can not put on decent spawns of Arkadian mobs and those of us holding DNA parts can not sell the DNA on to the LA owners. Any news on when the brain issue can be fixed? Cheers Bjorn
I spoke to Dave (CEO) and Chris (Dev) about this. They will be nudging Mindark to sort this out soon enough. Looking for Beladoth/Otorgi brains
bit of a kick in the teeth for those of us that made a serious effort to hunt for dna on arkadia when it was announced, LA claimed, and the same day missing parts drop. bit like the announcement of the UL guns quite a while back, grind for months with nothing dropping, and then suddenly they flood from mobs the same day after a VU. not that it bothers me other than to reinforce why i stopped visiting this wonderful planet with the team that was supposedly so different from the rest of EU.
News flash!! The people in charge of when loot drops are the same ones in charge of when loot drops on all the other planets! But I am glad you're not bothered that the missing parts are now dropping. It's great to see them finally drop!
Loot isn't controlled by the planet partner. You should be complaining, whining, whatever to MindArk. Better yet, now that they ARE dropping.. maybe you should spend more time trying to get the korwil brain and get some major ped. Seems the more logical and level-headed approach. Thanks for being bitter though instead of realizing a great opportunity. I would also point out that I didn't loot it. An individual without a soc did and was kind enough to sell it to me.
i have no issue with you at all, and wish you good luck with your LA and DNA. that said, i will complain where i think it is appropriate, and MA made planet partners specifically responsible for the interaction with the customer, i presume that they are expected to actually do something for the money they earn? it is one thing for the baker, and some of its enthusiastic cheerleaders to blame the supplier of flour for all the bad things about the way their bread tastes but at some point they have to take some responsibility for their own product and actions. MA did not announce the DNA as a major selling point for visiting arkadia, or any of the other issues i have highlighted in the past, the responsibility here rest solely on the ark team. you say the logical and level-headed approach is to spend more time trying to get parts like this myself, i am sorry, but the way i understand it is not logical to repeat past mistakes over and over and expect different results. and finally if nobody criticises where they feel it is warranted, and just stays away, leaving only the cheer-leading crew then how will anyone ever face up to where they go wrong? i think anyone with any kind of commercial background would realise how valuable the customer is who cares enough to complain, and how many lost sales opportunities their, often lone, voice represents. that said i dont see much point in wasting my time, or anyone else's for that matter, there are after all plenty of other places to spend my time and peds.
I think there are some serious flaws in your understanding of how the collaboration between MA and PP works.
I will echo Neil. Mindark controls ALL loot and the implementation of such. Arkadia would have believed the items were in the loot pool and if for some reason it wasnt.. it is due to mindark. Most times.. planet partners struggle with getting items into the pool and often requires many calls or even a visit to mindark hq. Point in case I the struggles neverdie has been having.
